I pity many bilingual families in Poland - the foreign language
usually gets sidelined and the child ends up with problems writing
in it and endless holes in his/her knowledge of vocabulary.
I took matters into my own hands and started teaching English-
related subjects to a class of my 2 plus a Polish-American boy.
"Obvious" things are not so obvious at all to English-speaking
children, who are inclined to write words like "knowbody" and use
punctuations like a Pole - hence making texts and numbers appear
truly bizarre.
