          Few senators support illegals bill

By Stephen Dinan and S.A. Miller
          THE WASHINGTON TIMES
          May 21, 2007

Fewer than 20 senators are publicly committed to supporting the immigration deal
that hits the Senate floor today while nearly 40 are already opposed or have
serious concerns, underscoring how difficult it will be for President Bush and
his allies to craft a coalition that can pass the bill.

jesli ten projekt wogule przejdzie to wg. jego zalozen pierwszym krokiem bedzie
      przyznanie wizy Z, 4 letniej z mozliwoscia przedluzenia...ale najpierw
amerykance musza wprowadzic program uszczelnienia granicy z mexami, min.18
miesiecy :) a jak polityk mowi min. 18 to czytaj min.36, pozatym background
check, taxy, stala praca...zielona karta to bajka daleka jak 342 czesc
schreka :) czytajac post na forum w temacie "amnestia", zartownis axx611
poinformowal nas, ze "...obie partie sie dogadaly i amnestia bedzie na 100
%..." - smieszne, partie sie dogadaly w sprawie spornych kwestii w projekcie
ustawy, ktora powstala w czerwcu 06, a co bedzie dalej, czy zostanie przyjeta,
nie wiadomo, do glosowania daleka droga.
a to najwazniejsze punkty zwiazane z wiza Z, z ostatniego "dogadania" sie
      partii...:)
..." Title VI – Legalization Program
Creates four-year renewable “Z” visa for people who entered before January 1,
      2007.
Z-1 – principal or employed alien
Z-2 – spouse or elderly parent of Z-1
      Z-3 – children under 21
Z-1s must be employed and pay fees to be eligible; must pay $5000 fine to be
      eligible for
green card (appears to be $1000 up front and $4000 later) under merit-based
      points
      system.
An initial probationary status awarded upon filing, fingerprinting and
      completion of oneday
background checks. After triggers met (see Title I) and background checks
complete, an applicant who can show continued employment and no criminal
      history can
      apply for a Z visa.
Zs can adjust to permanent residency after the family backlog is over and the
      remainder
of the $5000 fee paid. A merit-based point system will be incorporated in to
      the system
for converting Z visas to permanent residency.
DREAM Act – Individuals under 30 who entered the US out of their own control as
children can qualify for a green card after three years rather than six years.
      OTHER MEASURES
      - English is designated the official language of the United States
      - Free English instruction courses will be made available over the Internet..."
tak wiec zamiast zbierac pieniadze jak radzi axx611, zacznijcie sie uczyc
ANGIELSKIEGIO...inaczej na czerwone amerykanskie "karpety" nie wejdziecie!
      pokoj ludziom pracy!
