immigration office

Has anyone of you crossed the British border in Calais or Dover recently? I'm
going to England (by coach) soon and I would like to know if the immigration
officers are still so unpleasant and eager to send Poles back to Poland
because of illegal employment allegations. After all in May we are joining EU
and Britain agreed to make no problems as regards letting Poles in.
If you have any info - I will be very grateful for it.

I went with my husband and 2 kids just before X-mas with the invitation from
our English friends. I was asked just a few questions (while the previous
interview was very detailed). All people from our coach entered easily.

But on the return way - 16 people waited in Calais. So you never know.

I am afraid that immigration officers are still the same, but as long as you
can prove that what you are saying is true you won't have any problems. anyway
      good luck
