Interestingly enough, the game itself, despite its Polish name, can actually be traced back to India, being originally called "Pachisi" (Hindi: twenty-five). Pachisi rules are, however, much more complex than what we know today as "Chinczyk". The game as we know it today is a close relative of modern, simplified British (Ludo) and American (Parcheesi) derivatives. I suggest using the US name - Parchessi just seems more popular than Ludo with foreigners. Ludo may be useful when talking to a Brit, though. ;)

      It's just called "Frustration".

Nice, seems like an equivalent of Polish "Czlowieku, nie irytuj sie", though. ;))

Yes, it's true, it's really called "frustration".
Ther's another funny thing about the word "Chinese". Do you remember our old
game "Gluchy telefon"? In American English it's called: "Chinese Whisper" Isn't
it funny ? (A little bit racist, too)

They're the same thing. Only Frustration is a more down-to-Earth term, an americanization of sorts. In Polish this is reflected by the lengthy "Czlowieku nie irytuj sie".

Why should Chinese Whisper be racist?
Chinese Torture, now that's racist ;))

I don't know, it feels that way. At the end of the game the phrase is completely
twisted - it seems that Chinese people do the same...twist the truth (oh, yeah,
they do ! -but I cannot say it out loud !)
