GRUMBLE WEEDS

I was watching EMA (European Music Awards) Lisbon 2005 few days ago. The best
male singer award went to Robbie Williams (btw..do you know him? I bet you
do!,) and while his speech he said "Grumble weeds!, grumble weeds!, grumble
weeds!" I really didn't know what he meant... He's Englishman and maybe it
was in London slang, wasn't it? Do y'all know what does it mean GRUMBLE
WEEDS?? Cheers..

The Grumble Weeds were a group of four guys who did awful comedy sketches on UK
      television many years ago!

AS far as I am aware, nothing. It is an invented name for the 'group'.

As Robbie Williams was saying Grumble Weeds (and I did not see the show) but he
would have been intimating that the people were like the Grumble Weeds.

If he has said: "grumble, weeds" it would mean: "you stupid and unworthy
rubbish, now you may only growl":^)
