Gość: Rev. Reverend Re: what does BACKLIT mean? IP: *.nyc.rr.com 02.01.03, 15:38 Well, it is a word. It's quite new and very technical. Backlit means that LCD display is lit from the back. The light is being emited from behind the screen which appears to be bright. If you take a look at your LCD watch you can't see what time it is until you position it the way that it reflects the light. Imagine yourself positioning your laptop the same way. There comes the backlit to the rescue. Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś

Well, they are talking about photography. When you take a picture of an object which is illuminated from behind ,(backlit:-)), you must make sure that the camera lens does not pick up too much of this light. If it does your subject will come out dark. Subject in this case means any object or person you are taking picture of. > > thanks in advance > > greatwhite napisała: > > > Gość portalu: hey napisał(a): > > > > > please help, I can't find this word in any dictionary!! > > > > > > > > You can't find it because its not a word.
