ha, to be British in the country of the brave & free (what a f° joke!) is
probably one of the easiest 'things' for non-John Wayne-lookalikes to be, if

NO ONE has ever accused me of not looking like John Wane before.
as for being white...I am in parts, blue even, here and there. mostly though,
it is hard to tell, the damage to the outer surace has been so severe.

Well I never. I only wanted to find out if there's any expat Brits out there
in Poland and how they're finding it. Now I'm getting a conscise course in
literature and social comentary ;)

Well, I´m no Brit (either?), but very much interested in
the impressions a real Brit has of to day´s Poland and
why he is there.
What about me, Poland is my real "fatherland", but since
September 1939 I had to live in Germany. I very often
travelled to Poland (and Britain) to find again the land
of my early childhood (or the land of dreams), but I have
given up now.
