Variety of geographical regions and sightseeing
My country is rather big with a variety of regions and landscapes. You have
to decide if you prefer visiting first Polish picturesque mountains, colder
but charming seaside or a region of lakes.
You can also begin by sightseeing of the capital or other historical cities
like Cracow or Danzig. I suggest you to visit Warsaw and after that go to the
north if you prefer bathing in the sea or to the south if you like climbing
in the mountains.
Transport and accommodation
The most comfortable means of transport is your own car but you can also
travel by train or even hitch-hike. It is rather common if you have more
time, less money and like advanture.
Hotels are very fairly expensive but you could camp if you took your tent or
rent a room in a private house. It is very common in touristic regions.
Polish cuisine
Taste the Polish cuisine, the best-this home-made. However, you can also eat
quite well and at reasonable price in many local restaurants and snack-bars.
Polish friends
The best way to know each country, is to have friends there. Try to find
somone, even by Internet. Polish people generally are friendly and hospitable.
