(dostawy w 2006 roku) a w nim następujący fragment:
"(...)PZL-Swidnik is now investigating the potential development of a growth
version of the SW-4, and has also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU)
with Rolls-Royce to investigate powering the new variant with the 650 shp
Model 250-C30.
‘Drop in’ upgrades like this are a relatively easy procedure for this 420 –
715 shp family of engines due to the Model 250’s small size and high parts
commonality.
Orders for the SW-4 have already been received from the Polish Air Force,
which requires 30 aircraft for training purposes, as well as from several
export customers.
Commenting on the announcement, Ken Roberts, Executive Vice President of
Helicopters and Small Gas Turbine Engines for Rolls-Royce, said: "We are
pleased to extend our long-running relationship with PZL-Swidnik through this
follow-on letter of intent, and look forward to assisting PZL in the future
development of the type. (...)
