A po sezonie to się pewnie okaże, ze pan Dudek nie może zagrać w kadrze bo jest
kontuzjowany i musi sie leczyc ! No bo bądźmy szczerzy - tam mu płacą. Zatem
przestańmy wołać "KADRA JEST WAŻNA" bo i tak pies z kulawą nogą dla
reprezentacji nic nie poświęci. Dudek (niezależnie co będzie gadał w wywiadach)
też nie. A akcje w stylu Bońka przed meczem z Albanią (grał mecz po meczu i

Robbie is still a Liverpool legend


Because of the groin I injured against Everton, I was unable to play for my
national team Poland last night. But I am hoping to be fit for the game against
Manchester City on Saturday.

It was on the third goal-kick at Goodison Park that I felt a sharp pain. I
needed help from our physio. I told him that I couldn't kick the ball any more,
and that even when I ran I was in some pain. But this was such an important
game that I told myself I had to carry on, which is what I did.

The next day, which was Easter Sunday, I went for a scan in hospital. The
people there were very nice. One of the nurses was a big Everton fan! The scan
showed that I had an adductor longus tear, to use the medical term. It was
really painful when I played the following day against Charlton.

I took a risk by playing that match, but it was a decision which was reached
after consultation with the coaching and medical staff. Anyone who saw the game
will have noticed that I didn't kick the ball with my left foot. I thought that
since this was a home game, we would be under less pressure than if we had been
playing away.

My groin hurt the day afterwards, but I fortunately I had enough time ahead of
me to recover for the match at West Bromwich Albion last weekend. My groin felt
better by then, but it had still not healed enough for me to take the goal-
kicks. Because of that, I had to withdraw from the Poland squad before
Wednesday's friendly against Belgium.

A scan after the West Bromwich game showed that my groin wasn't getting any
better. The doctor said that in order for my injury to be cured completely I
needed three weeks of rest. If the Poland match had been this Saturday instead
of yesterday, then I might have been able to play in it. But since it was in
midweek there was no way I was able to be fit. The medical staff at Liverpool
advised me to stay here and get treatment.

When there are seven days between matches, as there are between the one at West
Brom and Saturday's against Manchester City, I can rest for the first few days
and have treatment before stepping up my training before the end of the week.
That's what I've been doing this week. Things are looking good
because I have been careful in training. But, of course, you can't afford to be
careful in a game.

Saturday's game is obviously important for us because we are still hopeful of
getting into the Champions League. But it is made even more interesting by the
fact that two old friends, Robbie Fowler and Nicolas Anelka, are playing
against us. We know them both well, and so I hope we can keep them quiet.

Jak Polska długa i szeroka dopóki Dudek bedzie grał w
renomowanym klubie w Polsce nikt mu nie da spokoju. Niezależnie

kibiców. Naprawdę przykre jest że nie potrafimy docenić pracy
naszych piłkarzy niezależnie czy dotyczy to Dudka, Hajty o
Świerczewskim już nie wspomnę. Wypominamy im zarobki,
niepowodzenia nie zdając sobie sprawy że robimy przykrość nie
tylko zawodnikom ale także ich rodzinom. Już niedługo mecz ze
Szwedami i naprawdę drużyna potrzebuje dużo spokoju.Krytyką
niejednokrotnie bezpodstawną ośmieszamy się nie tylko w Polsce
ale także za granicą.

Pociesza mnie, że są jeszcze ludzie trzeźwo oceniający sytuację. Dopóki kibice,
a co ważniejsze dziennikarze nie zrozumieją, że WSZYSCY musimy się zjednoczyć,
we wspieraniu reprezentacji, doputy nie stworzymy zespołu, nawet i z
najlepszych naszych piłkarzy.
