In addition to the ordinary maternity leave women with expected weeks of

bezplatny. Jak jest w Polsce nie wiem, ale chyba krotszy jest ten urlop platny,
za to chyba jest cos takiego jak urlop wychowawczy, ktory nawet 2 czy 3 lata
moze trwac, ale moze sie myle?

Srednia to 6 tygodni platne 90% pensji, potem kolejne 20 tygodni platne cos
okolo 100 funtow tygodniowo czyli niewiele.
Potem mozna wziac jeszcze 26 tyg ale bezplatnie.

Maternity Leave

How much maternity leave is a woman entitled to?

All employees are entitled to 26 weeks ordinary maternity leave.

Women who have been continuously employed by the same employer for at least 26
weeks also qualify for additional maternity leave. The 26 week qualifying
period must be completed at the beginning of the 14th week before the expected
week of childbirth. Additional maternity leave runs from the end of ordinary
maternity leave for up to 26 weeks.

All women must take a period of compulsory maternity leave.

To take advantage of the right to maternity leave the woman must ensure she
gives her employer the correct notification.
