Off hand, powiedzialabym, ze ci ktorzy dostarczaja 'professional services'
maja 'clients' - ie prawnicy, architekci, bankierzy itp. 'Customers' kupuja
uslugi w sklepach, zakladach fryzjerskich, kasach biletowych itp.

Hehe, dobre pytanie...

Instynktownie, "customer" kojarzy sie raczej z retail (jak to jest po polsku do
diaska??), i to bez znaczenia, czy towary czy uslugi. "Client" natomiast
kojarzy sie bardziej ze sprzedaza bardziej personalna, np. ksiegowi, prawnicy
itp maja swoich klientow, bo ten kontakt jest dlugoterminowy, bardziej osobowy.

Jesli chodzi o firmy produkujace towary, to dla nich "clients" to sa hurtownie
i supermarkety, a "customers" to sa ludzie kupujacy ich towary w sklepach.
