WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Some 1.3 million Americans slid into poverty in 2003

Sytuacja jest powazna. Za 10 lat zacznie wzrastac gwaltownie populacja emerytow
(nie tylko w USA). Juz teraz wiadomo, ze w okresie kilkudziesieciu lat,
podatnik amerykanski nie bedzie w stanie pokryc wyplat emerytalnych, i deficyt
ten bedzie wynosil okolo 1000 mld US$ rocznie, czyli okolo 9% obecnego GDP.
Nawet jesli GDP wzrosnie do 20000 mld USD, bedzie to ciagle deficyt okolo 4%
GDP.
Sa sygnaly, ze korporacyjne fundusze emerytalne robia bokami i beda likwidowane.
Ich role przejmie agencja rzadowa, swiadczenia emerytow beda uciete okolo 50%.

Reasumujac, ilosc obywateli USA zyjacych w nedzy bedzie sie prawdopodobnie
zwiekszala (dolacza do tej grupy emeryci z niskim poziomem swiadczen
emerytalych)....
