Could someone give me the dates of the Great Depression in the US? I tried to
find it on the Internet and in the books but there are different
possibilities. It started in 1929 but when it ended?

approximately in 1941. And maybe such citation will help you: "It is generally
considered to have bottomed out in 1933, but it was not until well after the end
of World War II before such indicators as industrial production, share prices
and global GDP surpassed their 1929 levels."
