WHAT THE PAPERS SAY

IP: *.in-addr.btopenworld.com 07.11.02, 13:11
This is just a reader's contribution submitted to DAily Mail:

The United Nations recently conducted a worldwide survey in an attempt to
solve the severe problem of food shortages across the world. The survey
consisted of one question: 'Please give your honest opinion about solutions
to the food shortages in the rest of the world.' It was a complete failure.
Africa didn't know what 'food' meant
Eastern Europe didn't know what 'honest' meant
Western Europe didn't know what 'shortage' meant
Chinese didn't know what 'opinion' meant
The Middle East didn't know what 'solution' meant
And the Americans didn't know what 'the rest of the world' meant.

Food for thought?

After a recent conspiracy to kidnap Posh Spice and her sons, husband Beckham is
looking for a safe holiday destination for them.
Newspaper comment: If David Beckham wants to take his family away for a crime-
free holiday, I suggest they go to Albania or Romania. All the criminals from
those countries seem to be over here.

Krecha, you are dead right, and here to confirm it, an extract from yesterday's
          press.

Here was a strident lecture on media morality being delivered by none other
then Madonna -the woman who built her career on sleazy self-promotion. In an
extraordinary outburst, the singer criticised publicity-seeking stunts designed
to boost ratings and called for higher standards of decency on television.
She seemed to have conveniently forgotten that her own videos are laced with
sex and violance, that she has often disrobed on camera, and that she once
shouted an obscenity on live television.
But the irony was lost on her as she attacked the US television station for
broadcasting footage of a mother breastfeeding her eight-year old son. Madonna
said she was outraged that the image was shown to millions watching ABC's Good
          Morning America show.
'People have no morals, I swear to God' The things that people do for ratings.
          It's unforgivable'.

My comment: Isn't breastfeeding an 8 year old pushing it a bit?

            maybe it was not breastfeeding
maybe it was sex with an eight-year old?

"THE PAPERS destroy the truth, lie outright, pervert, vilify, fawn at the
feet of mammon, and sell their country and their race for daily bread.

They are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. They are
jumping jacks, you pull the strings and they dance. They are intellectual
              prostitutes."
