Don't even try to use this Keyboard Creator! It's for creating a
keyboard layout from scratch. You would probably have to manually
assign all upper- and lower-case characters to each individual key.
      Too much work!
Check if you have a file C:\WINDOWS\system32\kbdpl1.dll
      Maybe it got accidentally erased?
Find another computer with Windows XP EN and try to install the
Polish Programmers Keyboard on it. If you also fail we know that you
      repeat the same mistake.
Does after installing Polish Programmers Keyboard the blue language
icon appear on the taskbar? Can you toggle "EN"<>"PL"?
Try to test the keyboard with Wordpad instead of Office.
Remember that only the right <Alt> key works with the Programmers
Keyboard. To type "ż" you hit <Right Alt><z>
I have installed this keyboard on over a dozen of '75s,'78s,and XPs
in the Atlanta area and never encountered any problems.
Hope this time you have luck.

YES i have this and two other Polish Files,
        kbdpl, and kbdpli

toggle "EN"<>"PL"? YES BUT ONLY if I invoke o=it
from Control Panel Regional... I can also toggle
        between Programmers, 214 and ISO
With the above deleted loading fro your link
only dispays the testable keyboard but otherwise
does nothing, ie no blue icon
        > Try to test the keyboard with Wordpad instead
of Office. (I WILL< BUT REMEMBER I can see Polish
characters using 214, but only in lower case)

You have been most kind, perhaps thanks again.

I wonder if I should not delete those dll files
first and use the URL you provided?

          Update
          Tried Word pad, no change
          Deleted .dll file
          Invoked your URL for pl1
          No change
          Deleted PL from regionals
Invoked your dll No CHANGE (not even blue toogle
          appeared loads keybord pic only)
          Restored PL from regionals
Using Polish 214 , avoiding UPPER case , still do
not know how to shift to it.
Yes Polish 214 is a pain, no wonder we Poles are
          all screwed up.
