Cold plum soup

Hello again! Thank you for your answer to my previous question. I
have another one. How to translate cold plum soup? Why this plum
is "cold"? Is plum soup something else than cold plum soup?
Thank you.

I believe cold plum soup is popular among older folks as the anti-
toxants it contains help relieve constipation. During the summer it
is a natural fit against the hot clime, while the Scandinavians
often have it as part of their Xmas feast, but tend to spice it up
with brandy, dry red wine, heavy cream, white pepper, cinnamon and
      so on. :)

But still: why in the name of the soup is this word cold? Plum soup
        is something else ;-)?

It's called 'Cold Plum Soup' as that particular variation is served
          cold! :)
