          To cos wyglado rewelacyjnie tanio. ATR 72-500 to w koncu duzo aluminium z dwoma
          poteznymi silnikami. Duzo mniejsze samoloty chodza po $30 mln. Moje proby
          guglowania skonczyly sie niepowodzeniem. Sam sprobuj poszukac i daj znac ...
          jestem ciekawy.

                  Zaj..... dzieki no to mamy odpowiedz. No to jest niezla roznica cen. Mimo tego
                  jakos ATR wciaz ma problemy ze sprzedaza. Przeciez za cene 2 Dash8-Q400 mozna
                  kupic 3ATR...Jestem ciekaw jak one sie w eksploatacji porownuja. Czy ktos wie
                  ktory z tych dwoch modeli jest Cichszy? Obydwa sa 6platowe(sorry ale nie wiem
                  jak to napisac).

                    problemy ? Ja myslalem ze ATR ma ten rynek opanowany. A moze teraz wogole
                    turbopropy sie gorzej sprzedaja?

                      Opanowany to ATR mial. Tylko ze jakos wogole turbopropy zle/gorzej sie
                      sprzedaja. W tym roku sprzedali 12(1 ATR42-500 i 11 ATR72-500) choc w tamtym
                      sprzedali 13sztuk (5/8) a w planie mieli 15sztuk. Na rok 2005 w planie jest
                      15sztuk. 2007/2008 po 18sztuk. Oprocz tego planuja 40transakcji uzywanych
                      samolotow rocznie. Air Deccan(Indie) zamowilo u nich co prawda 30 ATR72-500 i
                      6uzywanych(3-72 i 3-42). No i Turecka flota wojskowa zamowila 10 ATR72-ASW
                      (AntiSubmarine Warfare). Pozyjemy i zobaczymy ja obobiscie lubie ATR 500serie.
                      Nigdy nie lecialem natomiast Dash8-Q400 mimo ze AirCanada je posiada.

                          Podobno Dash8-Q400 jest cichszy od ATR42/72-500 ale nie moge tego powiedziec w
                          100%, bo nie lecialem tym pierwszym. Kanadyjskie samoloty sa nieco szybsze.
                          Ja tam lubie latac ATR-kami. Gdyby tak wymienic wszystkie nasze modele AT7 na
                          nowsza wersje -500, z ladniejszym wnetrzem, byloby git!
                          EuroLOT posiada 5 maszyn ATR42, wszystkie w wersji -500 (6-cio lopatowe smigla)
                          oraz 8 maszyn ATR72, wszystkie -200 (stare, glosne 4-ro lopatowe). Takze jest
                          tutaj mozliwosc ulepszenia.

                            no a ja leciałem Q-400 Tyrolean z Wiednia do WAW, zanim wsiadłem tom przeczytał
                            na burcie czy na samym silniku obwieszczenie treści "Sound of Silence" czy
                            jakoś tak, i mocno się rozczarowałem. Sound był ale silence na pewno nie. być
                            może jest on cichy z zewnątrz, ale w środku ATR jest cichszy. Q400 natomiast
                            lata z prędkością równą czterosilnikowemu odrzutowcowi. nie każdemu być może,
                            ale ARJ-70/85 vel BAe-146 - tak.

                              wedlug niej: "Q400 is built for speed and productivity", i potrafi przeleciec w
                              ciagu 60Minut....300 pare NauticalMiles w porownaniu ATR42(ktora seria???nie
                              pisze),Tylko 260pareNM, a z kolei ATR72(tez nie pisze ktora seria) jakies
                              255NM. Wedlug tej samej talebi Q400 jest porownywalny do RJ85 (taka sama
                              odleglosc co Q400) i B737-500 ktory potrafi przeleciec 5NM wiecej. Troche
                              wszkoda tylko ze roznica cen jest tak rozlegla. Poniewaz 2 a 3sztuki to jest
                              roznica. Oto kilka fajnych tabeli dotyczacych Q400 i zalet ekonomicznych, itd.

                                The board of the Biman Bangladesh Airlines is set to approve today purchase of
                                three DASH 8-Q-400 aircraft for $79.98 million whereas it could buy three ATR
                                72-500 aircraft for $50.7 million, about $30 million less.

                                A Canadian DASH aircraft is priced at $26.66 million, almost twice as much as a
                                French ATR 72-500, which costs $16.9 million, according to the report of an
                                evaluation committee.

                                However, as per terms and conditions of the tender, suppliers of the DASH
                                aircraft have offered $12 million in trade-in value for two ATP and three F-28
                                aircraft, to be adjusted at the time of payment. The ATR trade-in offer is $2.9
                                million.

                                The Biman executive directors, at a meeting on November 27, recommended
                                purchase of three DASH aircraft, despite higher fuel consumption and
                                maintenance cost, on the ground that the brand was more profitable than the ATR.

                                The meeting also pointed out that a 78-seat DASH aircraft has more passenger-
                                carrying capacity than a 68-seat ATR. Besides, positioning of the coffin
                                compartment in front of the cargo hold in an ATR aircraft will be uncomfortable
                                for the passengers.

                                “Cost per kilogram payload of DASH 8-Q400 per year is $3,204.2 against
                                $3,254.54 for ATR. Revenue per kg payload of DASH is $4,918.04 against
                                $4,033.39 for ATR as per financial analysis,” the meeting observed.

                                The executive directors also resolved that as the number of seats in a DASH is
                                higher and the space for cargo larger than those of the ATR, it would be more
                                profitable for Biman to buy the Canadian aircraft.

                                The meeting ignored a report of a Biman fleet planning subcommittee, submitted
                                on April 16, 2003 before the tender was floated, which says the ATR aircraft
                                consume less fuel.

                                An ATR travels from Dhaka to Chittagong or vice versa in 46 minutes and
                                consumes 465 kilograms of jet fuel against 38 minutes and 653 kilograms by
                                DASH, says the report.

                                Biman officials have been tight-lipped about the purchase.

                                “I have been asked by the higher authorities not to talk on the purchase of the
                                DASH 8-Q 400 aircraft,” said the general manager for planning, Rajpati Sarkar.

                                “I would face problems if I talked about the issue,” said the general manager
                                for cost and budget, Mohammad Nurul Abedin.

                                Biman floated the tender to buy three new-generation aircraft for its domestic
                                fleet on July 3, 2003. The tender was cancelled after only two companies had
                                submitted their bids.

                                The re-tender was floated on August 21, 2003 and three companies submitted
                                their bids. ATR and Bombardier Aerospace were short-listed by the tender
                                committee.

                                The Biman management later raised objection that the 72-seat ATR aircraft did
                                not have enough space to carry coffins. Subsequently, the ATR proposed to
                                rearrange the sitting arrangement and remove four seats to create more space
                                behind the cockpit for coffins.

                                However, the management rejected the revised ATR proposal saying the new
                                sitting arrangement would make the passengers uncomfortable.

                                Biman carries 8-10 coffins on average every year on its domestic routes, said
                                Captain Nasimul Haque, president of the Bangladesh Pilots’ Association. “The
                                seats are not sold out all the time, either.”

                                Nasim would not comment on the performance of the Bombardier Aerospace but said
                                the association had made it clear to the steering committee that similar
                                aircraft should be purchased to reduce maintenance and training costs. “Boeing
                                can be an option as its package includes training and maintenance.”

                                Bombardier and Avions de Transport Regional use engines of Pratt and Whitney in
                                their aircraft, according to Civil Aircrafts, a book published by Harper
                                Collins in 2001. It says an ATR aircraft has between 70 and 80 seats while
                                Bombardier 72 and 78.

                                Meanwhile, the Biman management on February 7 suspended the procurement process
                                until further notice and inducted two used F28-4000 aircraft as an interim
                                measure.

                                The issue came up for discussion at the meeting of the executive directors on
                                November 17 where it was decided that offers of DASH8-Q400 and ATR72-500
                                aircraft would be revived.
