we had the holiday of a lifetime in Olu Deniz. The Hotel Montabello (not
to
be confused with Montabella!) was wonderful and extremely clean. Maid
service
and towel change daily. The facilities in the Hotel were excellent and the
drinks and snacks well priced. We booked the holiday through Fly Elite and
paid just Ł349 per person for 14 nights including insurance! This was less
than half the amount that others paid so if you are looking to book a
holiday
in Turkey check out there website. We spent lazy days on the beautiful
beach
and hired a jeep to tour surrounding areas including Gocek beach where you
might see Kylie or Elton! We also visited Geimeler which is secluded and
enjoyed the hustle and bustle of Fethiye market. Evenings were spent
mostly
in Hisaranou as the choice of entertainment and restaurants was superb .
We
rarely paid more than Ł20 for th efour of us for a three course meal
incluing
wine!! Well worth a visit is the Butterfly Restaurant with set 3 course
menus
less than Ł3 including wine. The best restarant however was steak house
where the boys enjoyed fillet steak with all the trimmings and we had
butterfly chicken smothered in bacon and cheese with more vegetable than
you
could possible eat. We had this with a bottle of wine and to beers and it
cost just under Ł18! we went
back three times and it was excellent everytime. Th name of the restaurant
was Castellano. we are going back in 2003 to Hisaranou for our honey moon!
