• “AFFOGATO AL CAFFÈ”
Cover the bottom of a glass compote with sweet cocoa in powder, then put the
equivalent of two spoons of vanilla ice-cream and pour a double espresso on it.
This is the original Italian recipe of the “affogato al caffè”, your
imagination will suggest you possible toppings, as, for example, two coffee
beans.





• “GRANITA AL CAFFÈ”
(Amount for four people)
4 cups of espresso coffee
sugar
whipped cream
ground ice

Pour the cold espresso coffee in a shaker, add sugar, then shake with crushed
ice.
Pour in a cocktail glass and decorate with whipped cream.




• CHOCOLACCINO
(Amount for one person)

50 ml. of milk;
50 ml. of espresso coffee;
30 ml. of whipped cream;
25 gr. of bitter-sweet grated chocolate.

Prepare the cappuccino by frothing the milk and adding the just prepared
espresso. In case you have got a fully-automatic machine or a traditional one
featuring the cappuccino/milk device, prepare the cappuccino by using the
special selections. Pour the cappuccino into tall cups or glasses, put the
whipped cream on top by using a spoon, then finish with a plenty of grated
chocolate.






• Caffelatte ghiacciato (Iced white coffee)
(Amount for four people)

275 ml. of espresso coffee,
275 ml. of milk,
sugar at will,
60 ml. of whipped cream.

Warm the milk and add the just prepared espresso. In case you have got a fully-
automatic machine or a traditional one featuring the cappuccino/milk device,
prepare the white coffee by using the special selections. Add sugar to taste,
allow the obtained mixture to cool then put it into the fridge until it is
iced. Pour into iced glasses and finish with whipped cream.



• IRISH COFFEE
(served hot after dinner)
(serves one)
1 very hot espresso coffee
2 tablespoons cream
2 teaspoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons Irish whiskey
Warm a glass with steam, pour the coffee into it, add the sugar and the
whiskey, slowly top with cream using the back ofa spoon.






• WIENER KAFFEE
(Amount for four people)
4 cups of espresso coffee
fresh whipped cream

Pour hot and already sugared espresso coffee in previously warmed cups. Serve
immediately with a spoon of fresh whipped
cream.









• BRANDY COCKTAIL
1/3 espresso coffee
1/3 brandy
1/3 cream

Mix in a shaker with crushed ice and serve in a cocktail glass.


(Note: these are classic proportions for recipes based on three ingredients;
they can be modified according to the desired flavor. Sweet liqueur can be
added instead of cream).
