WHAT IS FEMINISM?

We are not taught history for a good reason. Feminism today is Communism.
Communism was never a Russian-based revolt of the working class. It was always
an elite mechanism to control the common man and establish world dictatorship.
Leon Trotsky played chess with Baron Rothschild at Cafe Central in Vienna
before going on to lead the Bolshevik Revolution. (Joseph Nedava, Trotsky and
the Jews, 1972, p.36) Like Trotsky, most politicians are elite agents.

The Tavistock Institute in London directs the elite's psychological warfare and
social engineering. They cooked up second-wave feminism to destabilize society.

According to Byron Weeks MD:

"All Tavistock and American foundation techniques have a single goal, to break
down the psychological strength of the individual and render him helpless to
oppose the dictators of the World Order. Any technique which helps to break
down the family unit, and the family inculcated principles of religion, honour,
patriotism and sexual behaviour, is used by the Tavistock as weapons of crowd
control."

SUBVERSION OF HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS

I don't enjoy being the bearer of bad tidings, but things have gone terribly
wrong. Satanic forces have hijacked this planet. Of course, they are not going
to tell you about it.

The super-rich have more in common with each other than with you and me. We
are "squatters" on their planet. United in secret societies, they have
infiltrated and subverted our political, economic, cultural and religious
institutions.

They are waging a secret war on humanity and are responsible for the political

    Very smart guy But in some ways this last sentence could be false. "This
    stuff" is not about "us and them." It is about 'the werid relationship'
    between linear and non-linear thinking of humans (causal reasoning vs.
    probability calculus). Ruby Ridge represents a jumping point from linear
    concluding (cause and the reason) to un-ordered probability of events
    
    Mmmm. Linear prediction is a operation where future value is estimated as a
    linear function of previous samples. Now, take 'imaginary numbers.' In
    mathematics, an 'imaginary number' is a number whose square is negative. A
    complex number is the sum of a real number and an imaginary number. A complex
    number is that what people 'have on mind'. 'Imaginary numbers' - you may
    describe tham as 'potentialities' - they do not exist, in fact, but have a
    power to influence and interfere. And this is the most werid - that humans have
    the ability to get there))))))))

      Try this:
      
      Close your eyes and imagine that there are three bubbles in front of you. Now
      pop the one on the left. Now pop the one on the right. Now pop the one in the
      middle. And for that moment when all the bubbles have been popped... what were
      you thinking of? A black space? A colour? For that second, are we thinking

      I think, but I'm not sure that meditation has as an objective to slow the mind
      down and ultimately, (among other things) to stop thinking.

      Hmmm, I think losing consciousness would qualify more as NOT thinking.
      Thinking about nothing implies thinking.
      
      I'm getting the same feeling with this concept as the thread where we discussed
      if consciousness could exists without memory - where I proposed the idea that
      without any history to build on, you can only have the spark, but not the flame
      of consciousness. Thinking about nothing, without any implications of what
      nothing means, without any comparison to thinking about something, and even
      without the realization that you are thinking about nothing, is the ultimate
      pursuit of Zen. (satori) and may be almost like the spark of thinking without
      actually following through.
      
      People who claim to have achieved that state say the very awareness that you
      have achieved it takes you out of it - which makes sense because you are now
      thinking about what you are doing, and that is thinking about something. It is
      best characterised by cute expressions like:
      
      "I'm there, wasn't I!"

      OK, if sending electrical impulses through nerves is considered thinking, then
      yes! But I doubt that is what we understand under this concept!
      
      About topic... we can try to thing about nothing.... Not sure it will ever
      happen! For thinking requires doing its job from some (one) object! Therefore
      we cannot get anymore further then thinking about something, for example,
      nothing...
      One will say, "That was the main point!"... Well, if the topic was "Can we
      think about something called nothing?", I would agree, but it seems to be
      different!
      
      My experience:
      One I tried to think in Russian... I'm not very good at it, so it was a bit
      hard, and at one moment I couldn't think anymore... and at that moment I
      stopped thinking and was aware of that!

      When you pop the three bubbles, you are merely thinking about the space where
      a minute before the bubbles had been. What you are thinking of is equivalent to
      thinking about a totally black (or any other color, depending on the
      previous "locations" of your bubbles) room that has nothing in it that you can
      see.
      
      Another small point... A better choice of words might have been prudent...
      
      Of course we can "think about nothing." I think what Sir Paco was asking was
      whether we can stop the thinking process altogether. I believe we can slow this
      process down to an infinitely small fraction of its original function, but,
      because imagination is a definintive human quality, we can't "shut it down"
      completely, lest we cease to become human... (the italicized clause of that
      statement was simply for emphasis...)

      Assume for a moment, that the point is to prove that we never think about
      nothing, or better phrased perhaps, we never for a moment cease to think. Then
      if you never cease to think, you would always have to have a thought in your
      mind constantly. Yet our thoughts are always changing, so I wonder, in the time
      between thinking about thought x and thought y, have we ceased to think for a
      fraction of a second? Before the mind conceives another thought?
      
      Also, what are we thinking about when we are staring off into space, "in the
      moon" so to speak?

      There are two ways to approach this, both interrelated:
      
      Thinking is not required for consciousness, but consciousness is needed for
      thought. 'Inner sense' or Introspection, is needed for what some called higher-
      order consciousness, or namely the sort of consciousness that only we humans
      posses (or so we like to think!) In order to introspect, it would be required
      of you to actually think. This entails language use, which is what has led many
      to assume language-use is necessary for consciousness. Maybe introspective
      consciousness, but certainly not all forms of consciousness.
      
      First, David Armstrong in his paper What Is Consciousness? laid out 3
      categories of consciousness, Minimal Conciousness, Perceptual Conciousness, and
      Introspcetive Conciousness. Many others have done the same thing. Introspective
      consciousness might be called Intentional consciousness, i.e. we as higher-
      conscious beings are always thinking about an object, whatever it may be. Our
      (internal/introspective) consciousness is always focused on a thing, or
      conversely something is always the focus of our consciousness.
      
      Secondly, we can liken Perceptual consciousness to the phenomena one sometime
      experiences while driving long distances. Armstrong uses the truck driver
      example and it will suffice. When a truck driver is driving a long distance for
      many at night on a lonely stretches of road, he may suddenly 'come to' and
      realize he has just driven several hundred miles at top speed without being
      fully aware!
      
      This phenomena is not rare, and more than likely happens to us all in a variety
      of cases. My point being that, he was not at anytime 'thinking' in the sense we
      would use the word. One might argue "of course he was, but he cannot remember
      it" but that still does not lend any evidence to the premise that he must not
      have been conscious (if you feel it does then explain how the truck stayed its
      course and his foot applied the same amount of force to the gas pedal the
      entire time).
      
      So on some level, he is still conscious. He still perceives, but the previous
      conversion of the external to the internal is not going on (and unless you are
      a rabid follower of Freud, most will agree), and instead he expe

    "But I was inspired when I learned about British scientist James Lovelock's
    Gaia Hypothesis (pronounced 'GUY-uh'), a bunch of scientific theories about the
    earth's biosphere (the plant and animal world) & upper atmosphere and how they

    Keen calls this our myth of progress, the notion that we can continue
    progressing towords increasing states of bliss through technology. As much as I
    like science, this just isn't adding up. It seems that we can, however,
    progress out of poverty, and that is important. But beyond that the mind and
    body do not seem to be designed for increased states of comfort. For example,

    "My own approach has been to try and seize various "net kooks" and
    their ideologies for myself, to take certain terms, push their
    ideology to absurdity and also try to mix in some serious thought
    in the mess. The "neu neu topian" movement has been flaring
    sparodically in alt.cyberspace for a couple months now and though
    it is in a low point (we are trying to integrate after success),

    herself. If taken as a satirist (which I strongly suspect), she is
    at points brilliant and she does have a capacity to press certain
    "buttons". There are a number of unassociated people with an obsession
    about Libby who have been given a purpose in life by her ramblinga
    and finally there are the "monster truck neutopians." The quality of
    these people vary, though some are educated. A few weeks back, I
    attempted to engage them in a pseudo religious war with little response
    and finally silence. I'm afraid alt.society.neutopia has been disrupted
    by the event and a new force known as "Mother Foundress" has moved in
    to fill the vacuum. We are still evaluating the results of this
    experiment and the process is in a lull.
    
    Those in this alt.memetics who are interested in acting out actual
    events of idea conflict might create pseudo neutopian ideologies
    or anti neutopian ideologies and move them to alt.society.neutopia.
    We can then act out aspects of Minskys "society of minds". The
    cross posting of such threads is quite welcome in alt.cyberspace
    because a number of our readers don't get alt.society.neutopia.

  We believe it is normal to be affected by trauma, there is help, and it is okay
  to ask for help. PTSD is not rare. It is not unusual. It is not weak to have
  PTSD. It is normal to be affected by trauma. We can't repeat that too often.
  
  Traumatic experiences bring to the fore survival skills which are valuable and
  useful at the time of the trauma, but which usually become less valuable, less
  useful and less effective with time.
  
  We believe that survivors become stuck in problem behaviors when their pain is
  not acknowledged, heard, respected, and understood. Denial plays a great part
  here (didn't happen/ shouldn't affect you). Putdowns, dismissal of their pain,
  misdiagnosis and other forms of secondary wounding keep survivors stuck.
  
  Recovery is a slow process which doesn't come easily or painlessly. The
  survivor must be heard, feel understood, and reconnect to a community. The
  Gazette is aimed at helping to form such a community. Recovery takes time. The
  survivor sets the pace. Recovery is not a race, and recovery doesn't erase the
  trauma as if it had never happened. Trauma will always affect survivors. PTSD
  symptoms may come back under further stress, but the negative effects can be
  minimized as the survivor learns what they are and feels empowered to take care
  of him or herself. True healing is knowing it is okay to ask for help again.
  Rather than trying to put trauma behind us and forget it, I believe in another
  deeper kind of healing where we never forget, where we keep the memory alive of
  what happened to us and to others and we use our knowledge to keep traumatic
  things from happening to others. We also reach out, acknowledge the pain of
  other trauma survivors and encourage them to talk. We can make a difference.
  
  This perspective also emphasizes that survivors and family members and
  therapists are human and are doing the best they can. Recovery is about
  learning better ways and letting go of fear, even fear of change. Slow growth
  is good growth.
  
  This perspective differs from the sometimes still prevalent attitude that
  trauma couldn't affect a really well balanced person and also from the hurry up
  and get it all out so you can get well school of treatment. Respect for the
  survivor is implicit in this perspective. We don't rush survivors and we don't
  dismiss their pain. Instead of comparing pain, survivors and survivor groups
  are encouraged to respect each other's pain and to focus on what they have in
  common and to share recovery. Each person's unique experience and pain is
  respected.
  
  In this perspective we also acknowledge the pain of the families of trauma
  survivors which often develop ineffective patterns as they try to cope. We seek
  to create a caring community of people who have been affected by trauma and
  share information on how to heal one day at a time.
  
  The PTG would like to know what you--survivors, family, friends and therapists--
  have found helpful in your recovery work. If you send in a letter that I
  publish, you will recieve a year's free subscription. I hope the PTG will be
  packed full of stuff which will be helpful to every reader. Other goals of the
  PTG are:
  
  To work towards a more scientific diagnosis of Post Traumatic reactions based
  on observation of what is traumatic and on all the trauma related behaviors of
  people who have been traumatized,
  To provide new information on the treatment of PTSD and up-to-date sources of
  good information on safe and effective help
  To illuminate the connection between PTSD and substance abuse and compulsive
  behavior.
  To raise public awareness of the epidemic of PTSD and it's enormous cost to
  society in rising rates of violence and substance abuse.
  To discuss implications of the intergenerational transmission of PTSD in

        Many trauma survivors appear to reenact their traumas, self-mutilating, getting
        themselves into the same type of trouble over and over, or doing to others what
        was done to them. These behaviors probably serve the same unconscious purpose
        of speaking the unspeakable.
        
        Symptoms may come on soon after the trauma or fifty years later. That is the
        post in PTSD. It is normal for symptoms to come up again in the face of further
        trauma and in times of high stress. It is normal to be affected by trauma. 17 %
        of the teenagers in Detroit have diagnosible PTSD according to one study.
        
        Mourning has five stages:
        
        Denial: is screaming "No! No!' at the time of the trauma. It is also "Never
        Happened!" and "Didn't affect me!" People can get stuck in denial for years.
        
        Rage: People get stuck in the rage stage, too, screaming and lashing out at
        everyone around them, or coldly angry and unable to change.
        
        Bargaining: Stuck bargaining includes veterans who will only get well if the VA
        gets perfect or if Nixon or Fonda goes to jail, the child abuse survivor who
        will only get well when patriarchy is gone, or the survivor who will only get
        better when he or she finds a perfect therapist.
        
        Sadness: The sadness stage is very difficult for most survivors because of our
        feelgood culture. Being sad is practically illegal. Sadness refused leads me to
        deep depression, but today if I start to feel depressed, I ask myself what do I
        need to feel sad about. If I can identify and feel it, I don't get depressed.
        Sadness needs to be felt. What happened to you was sad, painful, grevious. The
        only way out is through. Those feelings won't kill you. It is okay to grieve.
        Grief is part of life.
        
        Acceptance: The final stage. Yes this did happen. It was bad and it has
        affected me. I have a scar, but I survived. In time, I may be able to use my
        experiences to help other survivors.
