Next Euro NCAP launch to be held in Cologne on Tuesday, June 25th
The identity of the second car to achieve Euro NCAP's coveted five star
crashworthiness rating will be revealed during the next Euro NCAP launch at a
press conference on Tuesday, June 25th, 2002, near Cologne.
This five star car will also be subjected to a live frontal impact crash test
for the assembled international media.
All cars evaluated in this latest phase will be displayed by Euro NCAP and will
include:
Audi A2, BMW Mini, VW Polo, Opel Corsa, Range Rover, Opel Frontera, Jeep
Cherokee, Honda CRV, Mazda MX5, Mercedes SLK, Honda S2000, Ford Mondeo, Opel
Vectra, Jaguar X-type, Peugeot 607 and the Proton Impian."
