The Alzheimer Society of Haldimand Norfolk, local health unit and Lyme Disease
Association of Ontario want to make you are educated and protected from Lyme
disease. A free Lyme Disease information session is taking place Saturday at
Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Simcoe between 1 and 4 pm. There will be
four presenters, pamphlets, and refreshments. Lyme disease is an illness
caused by a bacterium which can be spread through the bite of certain types of
ticks. Lyme disease in humans can have serious symptoms but can be effectively
treated.
