Well, your request is somewhat like asking (female type) strangers to have sex
with you.... on the grounds that you don't want to forget how it done, while
your wife/girlfrieds is away. And you also require those "lucky ladies" to be
sexy and ready to fill in, whenever you need them smile

I got the better idea; don't expect people will act as your english couch,
unless of course you can afford your personal trainer. Just simply visit this
forum and take part in our conversation.

            Waldusiu,

allow me to introduce you to an obscure, almost unknown singer named Gwen Stefani.
"Holloback girl" is a reference to a rarely performed song by this secretive and
elusive performer who shuns the spotlight and is rarely seen or heard in public.

are you kidding me Makeshift, you don't believe me to by some pop-culture
junkie like you are, do you?

For your informantion, not everybody in US is tuned in to MTV channel, nor
cares much about some pop-music starlett, not mentioning following her every
album...She might be popular among teenagers and 20-somethings, still not
everybody in that age section of US population is a fan of this type of
              music....

Although I used to like few songs by "No Doubt" but it was back in 1990'ties..

Ask any high level manager, white collar in US past their twenties if they know
who Gwen Stefani is, I guarantee you will get the answer : "Gwen who???"

                Panie Waldemarku,

I'm no pop-culture junkie myself, but I don't live in a cave either.

As for ageing managerial types, they not know who Ms Stefani is, but the chances
that they hadn't heard the song in question about 80,000 times is pretty remote.

sure that if they are, but they are tune in pop music radio, you don't think

come up with something different, Waldku.

Perhaps she's not so well known in the US but in Poland I heard/saw the video
for Hollaback girl about 14,376 times without searching for it in the slightest.
or in the words of wikipedia: within six weeks of its release, it had reached
the number-one position, making it the fastest-rising single to reach the top in
2005; It maintained the number-one position for four weeks.

I don't live in the US and make no real effort to keep abreast of US artistic
(as opposed to political) doings, but a quick google search turned up something
about Gershwin and then Monsieur Chopin.
And a one man play by Mr Felder is hardly in the same recognizability league as
Ms Stefani's magnum opus (whether this is good or bad is a question of
                      individual taste).

that's all right Makeshift. Where did you get you get your nick anyways, what

It depends on who you ask, I'm quite certain that most educated and cultured
people in US heared more about Hershey Felder and don't pay much attention to
some pop music renegade singer, it is the matter of taste, as you admitted
                        yourself and rightfully so....

Skype is your friend. You should get skype, and then look through all the
native English speakers who are in "Skype Me" mode.

Either that, or tell us what city you are in, and maybe what budget you have
      for these conversations, if any.

Or, as Waldek says, you're free and welcome to discuss here, but it won't help
      your pronunciation.
