czy ktos przetłumaczy mi to i stresci??
List chyba był już w FIFA przygotowany wczesniej, bo odpowiedz przyszła po
15 minutach
otrzymałem taką odpowiedz:
Dear Madam, dear Sir,
Thank you for your e-mail and comments.
FIFA is the owner of the television rights for the FIFA World Cup(TM), as well
as for all of the other so-called Additional Events, such as the FIFA World
Youth Championship, etc.
In mid-1996, FIFA, as the owner of the rights, decided to award the licence to
resell the rights to joint bidders Sporis (later the ISMM Group) and the Kirch
Group, in return for guaranteed minimum payments. Following the bankruptcy of
the ISMM group, Kirch is the sole licensee of these rights to resell them tob
roadcasters in the respective countries.
Part of the deal between FIFA and Kirch is the obligation that according to the
so-called "Distribution Policy" certain World Cup matches must be shown live on
free tv, i.e. the opening match, the two semi-finals, the match for 3rd place
and the final. In addition to this, the matches of teams competing in the final
competition in 2002 in Korea and Japan must be shown live on free tv in the
country of that respective team. These obligations are also part of the
agreements between the Kirch group and sub-licensees, including the one with
Polsat.
FIFA has not been and is not directly involved in the negotiations between the
Kirch group and sub-licensees in the various countries. However, we are certain
that the above-mentioned obligations will be adhered to by ther espective
parties.
We trust that this will be of use to you.
Yours sincerely,
FIFA
