LOST - gra

IP: *.neoplus.adsl.tpnet.pl 13.11.05, 13:09
gra, w którą gra John Locke (nazwisko jakże znaczące) to backgammon
jak tłumaczył chłopcu to mówił, że są dwie strony - czarna i biała...
a potem mu powiedział jakąś tajemnicę
Z wikipedii o grze:
„Tryktrak (ang. backgammon; fr. tric-trac) to gra planszowa dla dwóch graczy.
Każdy z graczy dysponuje 15 pionami w różnych kolorach" - ilu jest bohaterów
serialu? takich, których imiona znamy? jest Jack, Kate, Sayid, Charlie i ten
blondyn co strzelił do misia
następnie rodzeństwo, ojciec z synem i czarnoskóra pani
para Azjatów, gruby, dziewczyna w ciąży i John Locke

pierwszy.
Angielska nazwa backgammon powstała w XVII wieku i pochodzi prawdopodobnie od
średniowiecznego(?) angielskiego słowa gamen oznaczającego grę: back game
czyli gra do tyłu odnosi się do zasad: powrotu do domu swoimi pionami, a
także możliwości zbicia i zaczynania od początku."

widzieliśmy Johna w pracy jak grał żołnierzykami w grę strategiczną, kumpel
nazywał go pułkownikiem - czy teraz gra ludźmi?

Theory: LOST is a Game- This is something you haven't seen before

This is going to be a very long post- I suggest that you read through the
entire thing before you make any judgments.

My Theory: LOST is a game. It is similar to a SIMS video game and we are
actually watching at least two versions of it being played.

Hints to LOST as a Game

Two things stuck out: first, all the references to the games and second, the
fact that there are a tremendous number of similarities and/or discrepancies in
the story from one episode to another as well as sometimes within the same
      episode.

So I started to think that since the show is so beautifully crafted why would
they allow so many “mistakes”? What if the “mistakes” are actually intentional?
What if the writers intend people to notice the “mistakes” because
the “mistakes” are actually clues to the actual nature of LOST?

The show’s creators and writers are absolutely brilliant. They have created a
TV version of game and the audience can’t figure out why the show doesn’t play
by the rules of a “regular” TV show. They must be having a blast reading the
message boards and watching the absolute craze they have created with viewers
trying to figure out what is really going on LOST.

The show is also brilliant because the average viewer can enjoy the show at a
very simple level and not even see the fact that they are watching two
versions. And the viewer, who wants to, can explore the different versions in
      more depth.

I also believe that the writers have begun to incorporate viewers’ opinions and
ideas into the story as options that can be chosen in the playing of the game.
The writers are also letting the viewers know the writers are paying attention
to the viewers, as evidenced by Locke saying to Jack “We gonna need to watch
      that again” in S2E3

They have written LOST is such a way that they have woven in an incredible
number of hints about this being a game. And they have woven at least two
versions of the game together so that the average viewer can follow the story
and enjoy it, yet someone watching more closely can begin to see the two
      versions of the game.

Quote from Jack in S2E5 - “It’s crazy where you look for something when you
      want to find it”

Instead of the audience picking up on true nature of LOST, the writers have
their audience running around in circles and doing some strange things like:
•Congratulating themselves for picking out “errors” supposedly made by the
      writers and the prop department
•Comparing screen shots to prove how “sloppy” the show editors are
•Talking about the limited actor pool on Hawaii as a cause for duplications in
      the casting of support characters
•Going off on obscure tangents exploring several Alien Abductions and Purgatory
      theories
oReading classic books and comparing book plots
oComparing movie plots like those of “The Truman Show”, The Game” and “The
      Matrix “
      oExamining song lyrics
oMap Questing the numbers as longitude and latitude to track down the location
      of the island
oGoogling Asian religious symbols looking for hints

There are obvious references to so many well known games, toys and playing.
Season 1 started out with some subtle references but, as the season progressed,
the references became much more obvious. See list below.

•The cable running from the sea and into the ground could actually be the cable
or cord that is the power source to the game.

•Why are the jar of computer parts, gun case in water by waterfall and the
Orientation film hidden behind books on the shelves? They are hints at them
      being EASTER EGGS.

•The Execute button could reset the game every 108 minutes and puts your new
options for characters, themes and actions into play.
oWalt says “Push the button. Don’t push the button. Bad.” according to the TV
Guide article. So pushing the button is an option.
oThere are way too many references to time and watches on the show. Who cares
about time on an island? Unless it is important to what is actually going on.

•Lindelof has stated that more emphasis has been placed on the numbers by the
      audience than is necessary.
The numbers 4,8,15,16,23,42 are the Lotto numbers but also numbers that can be
chosen as options to relate to the character and plot options that the player
      chooses.

•In an interview on the Season 1 DVD in the section regarding the development
of the show, Leee Pinker states “The Island could be, in a way, a dramatic
version of a video game.” “You could find the hatch, but it could take several
weeks before you had the proper tools to open the hatch.”

Quote from Sawyer to Jack in S1E2 – “You’re just not looking at the big
      picture, Doc.”

LOST has different versions of many, many things going on at the same time
which can logically be explained by at least two games being played and saved
      simultaneously.

Samples of Same Plot, or Scenery Shown, or Two of the Same Things Done, but
with a slight twist to it:

•Hints that Jin does or doesn’t speak/understand English?

•Michael and Sawyer- friends or enemies?

•Alex is a boy? Alex is a girl?
oS1E23 -Alex is believed to be a girl because when Danielle takes Aaron she
says “At that time, I was already seven months pregnant. I delivered the infant
myself. The baby and I were together for only one week when I saw black smoke.
A pillar of black smoke five kilometers inland. That night ... they came. They
came ... and took her… Alex. They took my baby “. But the reference could be to
two people being taken, someone she refers to only as “her” and another person
      named Alex;

•S1E1, when the plane crashes and the people are panicking, we see the same
people running in and out of shot repeatedly in the background behind the main
      characters.

•S1E2, during the flashback Charlie ends up running to the bathroom at the
front of the plane. Once the plane hits the turbulence, starting its final
moments before crashing, Charlie gets out of the bathroom and is able to only
make it about 10 rows before strapping himself into a seat. Boone and Shannon
were seated in Business Class, so Charlie is probably seated somewhere near
them when the planes goes down. When the front section of the plane is visited
by Kate, Charlie and Jack, the section consists of at least 10 passenger
windows which would imply that the first 10 rows of the plane are there. So how
did Charlie, Boone and Shannon wind up on the beach?

•S1E2, when Sayid first takes apart the transceiver he places the back piece on
the table he is at and he says "Some people have problems." From this point, as
the camera jumps back and forth from Sayid's right to his left, he has the back
piece in his hand when the camera is on his right side but then it is down on
the table while the camera is on his left. This happens until Hurley tells him
      that he's okay.

•S1E3, Kate eats bacon when Farmer Ray feeds her; in S1E4 she tells Jack she is
      a vegetarian.

•S1E4, When Hurley and Charlie are trying to catch fish with the spear,
Hurley's t-shirt changes from being wet all over the front to only wet halfway
      up his chest.

•S1E4, while hunting for boar, Kate, Locke and Michael are attacked by one.
Locke pulls Kate out of the way and ends up on his back. As Kate gets up, in a
shot from Locke's right side there is no knife visible because the hand holding
the knife is down. When the next shot is on his left suddenly his hand is up
high enough so that the knife is pointing up and is visible over his stomach
even though it wasn't in the previous shot.

•S1E5, when Charlie and Hurley are questioning Jack about the water in the
tent, two people, a man and woman, walk behind Jack in the same direction twice.

•S1E5, you see that Jack has the bad cut on his back which required stitching
by Kate. However, when he dives into the water to attempt rescue of the
drowning woman only six days later, there is no wound on his back. And it is
also gone in S1E6 when he takes his shirt off during the fight with the bees in
      the cave.

•S1E6, Kate takes her shirt off in the cave when fighting the bees, but Charlie
then walks in with it in his hand saying she left it outside the cave

•S1E6, the gold watch disappears from Michael's wrist when Jin is trying to
drown him, but reappears after the fight.

•S1E6, we see a large blood stain on Jin's right elbow (on his shirt) when he
is washing the blood off his hands. In the next shot the stain has disappeared.

•S1E6, at the end of the show, while Jack is filling his water bottle, his
tattoo is on his right arm, not on his left arm, This also occurs during Jack's
      secondfight with Ethan

•S1E6, when Michael is surprised that Sun can speak English, the camera is
behind him and you can see he has his right arm extended out in front of him.
The camera switches to the other side and suddenly he has his left arm out in
front. This change occurs as he speaks his line so this was a problem with
      continuity between the separate takes.

•S1E12 during the bank robbery, when Kate is getting whacked in the face by
Jason her accomplice/lover, she is struck on her left cheek. When they exit
from the office to the main hall of the bank, her right cheek is hurt and red.

•S1E12, When Boone is belittling Shannon for not helping move the camp up the
beach due to the high tide; he was wearing a very sweaty t-shirt with the
Chinese eight-ten-four characters on the front. Moments later, with not time to
      change, the shirt has changed.

•S1E13, when Boone is tied up, his right hand is tied to his chest and his left
hand is tied around his back. However, when he reaches for the knife with his
right hand, you can see in the shots of his back that his right hand is tied
      behind his back.

•S1E14, when Locke was teaching Walt how to throw a knife, Michael hit Boone in
the face. Boone had a bruise on the left side of his face. Next shot shows him
rubbing his left cheek. In the shot after that, bruise is on the right side of
      his face again.

•S1E17, as Locke and Shannon are talking, while Shannon is looking for Boone,
at first Locke has a streak of blood that goes horizontally across his cheek.
When Locke sarcastically asks if he should write this down the blood is now
      going vertically across his cheek.

•S1E18, Boone’s shirt changes while talking to Shannon, the Chinese character
      on front disappears

•S1E21, Sayid knows Nadia is still alive but in S1E8 he told Danielle that
      Nadia was dead

•S1E22, Kate is wearing a green jacket, white blouse and black t-shirt, during
struggle with security guard her jacket is light purple and t-shirt is purple.
Colors change back to green again.

•S1E23, Sun’s wedding ring changes from a ring with a diamond to a plain band
and then back to diamond when saying goodbye to Jin. This happens again in S2E4
when ring is on finger, then off finger then on again as Sun is burying the
bottle with the messages. Not only does the ring appear and disappear, but the
ring changes from ring with a diamond to a simple band.

•S1E24, The plane used in the flashback sequences for S1E1&2 is apparently a

when spoken lines referring to seat numbers as well as the footage from right
before the crash doesn't match at all to the boarding footage in the finale.

•S1E24, Walt’s life jacket switches back and forth between being inflated being
      un-inflated throughout entire episode

•S1E24, when Shannon is moving her suitcases, they tip over, there are
different versions of what is in or has fallen out of the suitcase (watch green

Samples of the use of Black & White or Light & Dark (Good & Evil:
There are numerous references throughout the show, too many to list

      S1E1 Backgammon pieces
S1E6 “GO” stones found near Adam & Eve
S1E10 “GO” stones in Locke’s eyes
S1E19 Sawyer’s glasses- one black side, one white side

Could also be an indication that each character has a light & dark version:
      Just guessing at these examples

Jack- has been portrayed as possibly being an alcoholic like his father. Yet in
the pre-flight bar scene with Ana Lucia in S1E23 she asks him "Not a drinker
huh?" and he replies "No not really" So that gives us 1)Heroic, non-drinker
Jack who has no cut on his back in S1E6 and 2) Alcoholic Jack with a cut on his
back as seen in S1E5 who took a bottle of Vokda out of his pocket

Sayid –1) a man cold enough to torture Nadia and who associates with known
terrorists and 2) a good guy who works with Government agencies and who also
fed Nadia and allowed her to escape.

Sawyer – 1) Nasty Con Man who killed Frank Druckett and 2) a Con Man with heart
of gold who won't take advantage of a kid and the version who walked away from
the Shrimp truck without killing Frank Druckett

Jin- 1) Heavy who enjoys work for Mr. Paik, has a temper, and is rude and
abusive to his wife and 2) a Good guy who wants to get away from Mr. Paik. It’s
interesting to note that the nice "side" of Jin is always associated with white
      flowers.

Sun- 1) Is afraid of what her husband has become and wants to leave him and 2)
loves Jin and believes in his goodness enough to defend him when he is accused
of stealing Michael’s watch and of burning the raft

Michael- 1) Reluctant to be a father to Walt (his phone call in airport to his
mother) and who has a short temper with Walt and 2) Father eager to keep and
raise Walt and trying hard to be a good father

Shannon- 1) Shallow enough to con Boone, is bulimic and won’t help anyone but
herself and 2) the caring sister who offers to help with the translation for
Sayid and gets involved with Sayid

Boone – 1) Boone the hero to the rescue of his sister and 2) Boone who sleeps
      with his step-sister

Locke- 1)Psychotic, angry & compulsive and 2) Pathetic soue who just wants love
      and acceptance

Charlie- 1) Addicted Has Been Rock Star who stole Winston Churchill’s cigarette
case and will probably use the heroin in the statue and 2) a religious Rock
Star with an addicted brother who takes the statue because of his faith and
      really cares for Claire

Claire – 1) Uncaring, willing to give up baby for money and unable to mother
Aaron properly when he is crying, so Charlie and Sawyer wind up calming him
down 2) Caring mother who fights when there are attacks on her and the baby (by
man with syringe, gets away from Ethan and leaves scratch marks on Danielle)

Hurley – 1) Selfish, unwilling to share and 2) Gives money and food away

Kate – In S1E2 Kate’s clothing changes while she is fighting with the sheriff
in the hospital which may indicate that both versions of Kate are wanted for a
crime that is serious enough to post a sheriff’s officer in the hospital .

Samples of Discrepancies in Date of Crash:

Date discrepancies are found throughout the show. Such as:

      2004
•Jack's ticket is supposedly dated Sept. 22, 2004

Time of Departure from screen cap of Hurley’s check in says 14:15
      lost-media.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&album=486&pos=767
Time of Departure on Oceanic Air website is 14:55

•On the paper for the termination of Michael's pa
    • Gość: Andy UWAGA - SPOILERY (o dalszych odcinkach) cd... IP: *.chello.pl 13.11.05, 15:06
•On the paper for the termination of Michael's parental rights it says Susan is
30 and born in 1967, meaning that took place in 1997 or 1998 just before her
birthday. Walt was about 2 in that flashback; he is now 10, so he is 8 years
older. Indicates the crash occurred in 2004.

      2009

•Date on Jack’s luggage tag indicates that the flight date is 09SEP21, so it is
      2009 see tinypic.com/erk4tz.jpg

•On Oceanic-Air.com there is a tiny calendar next to the date when the plane is
scheduled to leave (Sept. 22). In the calendar you can see that the day of the
week the plane left is highlighted with a red dot. That dot shows the 22nd of
Sept. being on a Tuesday. The most recent past year where the 22nd falls on a
Tuesday is 1998 and the next time is 2009.

•The 2nd idea is mine (and this one is purely speculation on my part) but stems
from the repeated statements by the writers, producers, etc. saying that they
know where the show is going for the next five years. Curious that this "5 year
run" bit keeps cropping up in their statements. Why not state that that they
have plans for a very long run? Is it a hint towards dating the departure?

      Season 1 covered 44 days
They have said the show will last 5 years
      approx 44 days per year x 5 years = 220 days

If the show is on 5 years it will be May of 2010 when it ends.

Count back 220 days from May of 2010 and you find that the plane took off on
      Sept 22, 2009.

Likewise I have seen other valid arguments for a both 2004 or a 2009 departure
date. It’s curious that these arguments always come down to the idea of it
being only a possibility of two dates. Either 2004 or 2009
My theory of two versions supports the fact that both dates could be correct. I
think that the player of the game actually picks the date that the plane
crashed. This allows for the fact that attempts to date when the plane crashed
by dates on magazines or tickets; references to the Red Sox and other little
clues; are always stymied by some fact that does not fit in with the timeline.

Depending on what date is chosen, the hatch will contain a stereo, tape player,
lamps, music and medicine cabinet that vary in appearance in different versions
because they are older or younger than each other.

      Other dating problems:

•In S2E6 Shannon said she was 18 and in S1E10 she tells Hurley she's 20 when he
is doing the census. So Shannon has only aged 2 years. Adam Rutherford dies
from being in the car accident with Sarah and Jack meets Desmond about the same
time S2E1 after he has operated on Sarah. But, Desmond is able to finish
training, embark on the race around the world, crash on the island and spend
THREE YEARS in the hatch??? And Shannon only aged 2 years???

      Samples of the Changing Mural:

Much has been made about the mural- I believe that the differences that appear
in the mural are due to the fact that each mural represents a different version
of the game being played. Therefore, each mural depicts different game options
that have been chosen by the player.

•Hatch mural appears to change every time it is shown; and it resembles the
artwork in Michael’s apartment in S1E14 and also the artwork seen in Claire and
      Thomas’ apartment in S1E10.

      Monster/Security System

The monster may actually be an option in the game (i.e.: the others or they who
kidnap people, Polar bear, shark, boar, whispers, the dark cloud monster, the
monster that picks you , etc)

There appear to be at least two versions of the monster or security system that
      tears up the jungle:
oOne pulls you up and kills you- Pilot’s death and Shannon’s death in Boone’s
dream and also, possibly the dead Nigerian “Priest” up in the tree and is the
one that Locke stares up at and later describes as “beautiful”
oThe second pulls you down and is accompanied by the clouds of “dark smoke”, if
it was so beautiful when Locke first encountered it, why was he so frightened
when he saw it just before it started puling him down the hole? Apparently, he
started to believe it was the same monster as the initial encounter since he
then tried to convince Jack to let him go down into the hole.

      Whispers
Could the whispers just an option for choosing a version of the
      monster/security system?

S1E9, Danielle tells Sayid she hears whispers
S1E9, Sayid hears whispers after Danielle tells him about them
S1E11, Sayid tells Sawyer about the whispers he heard
S1E6, Sawyer hears whispers twice after Sayid tells him about them
S1E24, Danielle says she heard the others whispering that they were coming for
      the boy
S2E1, Shannon hears Walt whispering “Push the button. Don’t push the button.
      Bad.”
S2E6, Shannon hears Walt whispering again he says “They’re coming and they’re
      close”
S2E6,Sayid, Eko, Ana, Michael, Jin, Libby and Bernard hear whispers after
      Shannon is shot

Are the “Others” an Option to pick for the monster?
•Who are the “Others” on the Main Character’s side of the Island and the “They”
on Ana Lucia’s side? May be the same group but may not be.
•There are actually two groups of “others” on the main character side of the
island. The “Others” that Danielle and Ethan refer to regularly and the
constant references to everyone else that survived the plane crash as “the
others”. It’s curious that so many references are made to not telling the
      others what has happened.

      LOST as a Game

The basic game could be the simple premise that there is plane crash somewhere
on an island in the Pacific.

You are allowed to create the main characters’ lives by adding in details about
them and by adding supporting characters regarding what happens on the island
and in the main character’s flashbacks:

Could be done through a series of prompts such as:
      •Main Characters on the Plane
oPick a Name (i.e.: Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Claire, Hurley, Charlie, Walt,
Michael, Jin, Sun, Shanon, Boone, Locke)
oAre they traveling alone? Did travel partner survive the crash?
oWhat is the year they traveled? (i.e.: 2004, 2009. etc.)
oIs character married? Divorced? Single? Gay?
oWhere is character from? (i.e.: US, Australia, England, Iraq, France, etc)
oWhat does person do for a living? (i.e.: artist, doctor, lottery winner, ex-
military, rock star, con man, etc.)?
      oWhere were they seated?
oWhat did they bring with them? (i.e.: dog, golf clubs, book, medicine, guns,
      stuffed animals, dead father, etc.)
oHas this person been injured in the crash? (i.e.: lost/hurt an arm/leg,
broken/hurt neck, shot, attacked by an animal, etc)
oHas this person been injured in the past?
      oIs this character pregnant?
oHow do they get along with other crash survivors?
oIs this person injured on the island?

      •Support Characters on the Plane
oAdd a support character from their past from a predetermined list of names
(this will be important as there are not only many support characters with
similar names but there is a repeated use of actors playing supporting roles in
      the show.
oWhere was the character seated in front, middle or back of plane?
oAre they traveling alone? Did partner survive crash?
oIs this person alive or dead? Sick?
oWhat is the year they traveled? (i.e.: 2004, 2009. etc.)
oIs character married? Divorced? Single? Gay?
oWhere is character from? (i.e.: US, Australia, England, Iraq, France, etc)
oWhat does person do for a living? (i.e.: artist, doctor, lottery winner, ex-
military, rock star, con man, etc.)?
oWhat did they bring with them? (i.e.: dog, golf clubs, book, medicine, guns,
      stuffed animals,
    • Gość: Andy UWAGA - SPOILERY (o dalszych odcinkach) cd... IP: *.chello.pl 13.11.05, 15:07
      oIs this character pregnant?
oDoes this person have any addictions? (i.e.: alcohol, drugs, food, etc.)
oHas this person been injured? (i.e.: lost/hurt an arm/leg, broken/hurt neck,
shot, attacked by an animal, etc.)

•Support Characters from life before crash (in Flashbacks)
oAdd a support character from a predetermined list of names (this will be
important as there are not only many support characters with similar names but
there is a repeated use of actors playing supporting roles in the show).
oHow is this person related to the main characters?
oIs character married? Divorced? Single? Gay?
oWhere is character from? (i.e.: US, Australia, England, Iraq, France, etc)
oWhat does person do for a living? (i.e.: artist, doctor, lottery winner, ex-
military, rock star, con man, etc.)?
oIs this person friend or enemy?
oIs this person alive or dead? Sick?
oHas this person been injured? (i.e.: lost/hurt an arm/leg, broken/hurt neck.
      shot, etc.)
      oHow were they injured?
      oIs this character pregnant?
oDoes this person have any addictions? (i.e.: alcohol, drugs, food, etc.)

      •Support Characters already on Island
oAdd a support character from a predetermined list of names (this will be
important as there are not only many support characters with similar names but
there is a repeated use of actors playing supporting roles in the show.
oHow did they arrive on island? (i.e.: crashed boat, crashed plane)
      oWhat is the year they traveled? (i.e.: 1988, 1993, 2001, 2004, 2006, 2009,
      etc.)
oWhere is character from? (US, Australia, England, Iraq, France, etc)
oIs character married? Divorced? Single? Gay?
oIs this person a friend or enemy of survivors?
oIs this person alive or dead? Sick?
oDoes this person get hurt? Die?
oWhat did they bring with them? (i.e.: drugs, money, guns, batteries, syringes,
      etc.)
oHas this person been injured? (i.e.: lost/hurt an arm/leg, broken/hurt neck,
      shot, gotten the sickness, etc.)
      oIs this character pregnant?
oDoes this person have any addictions? (i.e.: alcohol, drugs, food, etc.

      •Island as a Character-
The writers have stated that the Island is a Character in itself.
The geography of the Island is apparent in the maps shown; however, it seems
that the maps created by Danielle may not always be accurate
      oHow big is the island?
      oIs it sunny or raining?
oIs the tide coming in or going out?
      oWhat food sources are available?
oWhat animals are on the island?
oWhat is the security system? (i.e.: monster, dark cloud, an animal, whispers
      etc)
oWho does the security system kill? Who does it kill?
oHow many hatches are there and where are they located?
      oWhat is in each hatch?
      oWhen was the hatch built?
      oWhy was the hatch built?
oAssuming the hatch is always built by Dharma, who is Dharma?

      Science vs. Faith:

I’m not sure yet how the whole science vs. faith theme fits into the game.
Perhaps the player has an option to 1) choose their own options in the game
=science/technology vs. 2) allowing the game itself to choose an option =
faith, fate, destiny, leap of faith.

Perhaps it is the name of two teams playing the game?

      Who is Playing The Game?

On S1 DVD there is an Easter Egg with an alternate version of the very end
of “The Climb” scene when Shannon is speaking to Charlie. In it, Shannon asks
Charlie “Are you one of those 30 year old virgins who live in your Mom’s
      basement and…?”

Is this a clue to exactly who is playing the game? Is it Hurley and Johnny down
in a basement playing the game?

Some of the Things I'm Still Working On

I’m not sure just how many versions of the game are being shown to the
audience. I know there are probably at least two versions.

I think that the answers to many of the questions below are that there are
several “game options” and more than one game being played for us:

•What is the whole Dharma/Hanso Foundation/Hatch thing? But there are probably
several versions of the Orientation Film and therefore several options for its
      true cause

•What’s with the sickness that Danielle mentions? Is it the same sickness that
      Desmond is afraid of?

•Is the repeated phrase “Live together, die alone” somehow a part of the rules?
Those who cooperate and work with each other have a better chance of survival
(i.e.: Joanna went out swimming on her own and died.)

•Did Jack also have some sort of mental problem? His reaction to Hurley saying
he was in a mental hospital was curious. When Locke’s “Helen” on the phone
tells him he needs a Therapist, Locke says that he already has a Therapist.

•What’s the story on the ship “The Blackrock” and its purpose? Probably will
also be a Black Rock that is simply a rock that is black as indicated on the
map. Or possibly there will be a white rock.

•Jack married to Sarah or not? He was vague when speaking to Desmond in S2E3
and on S2E5 referred to his ring as now rattling around in his drawer at home

•Charlie doing drugs again or not

•S1E5 Claire told Kate she had looked in 20 suitcases and couldn’t find a
hairbrush “It’s weird, who doesn’t pack a hairbrush?” Does that mean that the
option to have a hairbrush in someone’s luggage has never been chosen yet?

      • Did Anthony Cooper hire Helen to get Locke to stop bothering him?

      Predictions:
•I predict that there will be a gay version of Sawyer, since Ana asks Sawyer in
S2E5 if he’s gay and he replies “funny”.
•If Shannon lives past S2E6- I predict that Shannon or another main female
character will wind up pregnant and give birth on the island just as Danielle
and Claire have. In S1E13, when Sayid gives Shannon the sandals he found she
says that her feet are swelling from being on the island. If so, is it Boone’s
or Bryan’s? They may imply it is Sayid’s baby, but they didn’t spend time alone
until S1E20, after she made the comment about her feet.
•I predict that many of the main actors can and will be killed off and then
will be brought back as another character, just as we have seen happen with the
actors playing the support characters. So, Ian (Boone) Somerhalder can come
back as another character in the future. Bottom line, it doesn’t matter which
actor gets killed off- we can see them again!

And there are more questions, lots more, that I still need to figure out. But
you have my theory so far. Support for it should only get stronger as Season 2
      continues.

ja sobie to wydrukuję i przeczytam gdy u nas będzie druga seria co by sobie

mnie intryguje jeszcze to, że Locke wykupił wycieczkę, na którą jak wiemy nie

zastosować do sytuacji w jakiej się znaleźli
mimo to po głowie chodzą mi skojarzenia z dinozaurami, wielkim bratem i the
truman show a nawet z filmem "gra", w którym grał sean penn i michael douglas
będę też niezadowolona jeśli się okaże, że to wszystko to były majaki albo sen

wydaje mi się że Locke gra w tę grę podobnie jak gra się w the sims (w które ja
              nie grałam nigdy :-))
i mógł jako gracz wziąć jakieś gadżety - on wziął noże
mógł zaopatrzyć się w wiedzę - wiedział jakie zwierzaki plądrowały wrak
samolotu i jak na nie polować (sic!) - przynajmniej teoretycznie
