Argentina gives pension to Schindler's widow
==================================================
The Argentine Government has decided to give a monthly pension worth around
one-thousand dollars to the widow of Oskar Schindler - the man credited with
saving hundreds of Polish Jews during the Second World War and whose life
formed the basis for Steven Spielberg's film "Schindler's List".
The decision to help 90-year-old Emily Schindler, who lives in Argentina,
follows a television report that she is suffering economic hardship.
A spokesperson for Mrs Schindler told the BBC that she had not benefitted
financially from the film.
