    am I right?

    sub-sentential grammar => word grammar within a sentence, supra-sentential
    grammar => features that structure a discourse as a whole. am i right? if
    not, please do write how should i understang THESE grammars, thx from the
    mountain:)

        The layers of grammar are as follows:
        * Subsentential = morphology (eg. parts of speech)
        * Sentential = syntax (eg. types of sentences)
        * Suprasentential = discourse (eg. backgrounding and foregrounding)
