Ok, please, allow me to explain the TRUE slang meaning of "Dutch Oven," which
originated, to the best of my knowledge, in Kentucky (in the USA). I have this
information on good authority. A "Dutch Oven" is when one person in a bed
farts (expels flatulence) and then quickly pulls the sheets and bedcoverings
over their bed-partner's head, and thus traps their bed-partner in a coccoon of
suffocating, noxious fumes. Much like the way a conventional dutch oven works
for food, where aromas and juices are contained and circulate within an
enclosed space, a Dutch Oven in bed traps the victim in a small space where the
horrible odors of their bed-partner's butt-gas surrounds them like a heavy,
dense fog. Dutch Ovens sound humorous, but they can be potentially deadly.
Several people have been known to die from this "harmless prank." Have fun,
but be careful!!
