question about Christmas greetings

I have some business relation with some person from US. We contact only by e-
mail. Should I send him a Christmas greetings? I don't know if he is a
Christian.
If yes, please show me some templates of a Christmas greetings.

Instead of "Merry Christmas" use "Happy Holidays". That will do.
