"FRANCE. Guerlain has unveiled its Christmas Collection of limited-edition
fragrances and cosmetics. The products begin rolling out in France from this
month.

Midnight Diamond is the make-up theme, inspired by the priceless 67.50 carat
Black Orlov stone. The diamond is named after a Russian princess who owned it
in the 18th century. According to legend, it comes from an area near
Pondicherry, where it was known as the “eye of Brahma”.
Correspondingly, black diamond sparkle teamed with gold and silver glimmer
characterises make-up artist Olivier Echaudemaison’s seasonal collection.
Within the Divinora range, there are two Touches Précieuses palettes, both of
which feature a lustrous gold and silver crystalline design.
Available in two colour schemes, Gold Radiance (pictured right) and Silver
Radiance, these compacts comprise four products, for face, eyes and lips. The
case also contains a mirror and applicator brush. The recommended domestic
price is €47.
Guerlain has also created a Gloss Duo (pictured right), in Voluptuous Gold and
Gorgeous Diamond. Each features two shades, one intense and one sheer, with a
non-sticky texture that is ideal for fingertip application. The duos are priced
at €32.
Lastly within Divinora, Guerlain has created two new nail polishes: Gold
Sparkles and Silver Sparkles. Both feature metallic glitter, and are priced at
€18 each.

With Guerlain’s Météorites range, there are two seasonal limited editions
(pictured left) — presented in black hologram casing highlighted with silver —
in line with the Midnight Diamond theme.
Météorites Powder Pearls For the Face (€38) features the line’s
signature “pearls” of powder. This year’s edition includes new, large gold and
silver pearls, enhanced with shades of Champagne and golden pink.
The Météorites Travel Compact, featuring pressed powder, also features black
and silver packaging. Positioned as a top-end gift that will appeal to
collectors, it is priced at about €125.

Within fragrance, Guerlain has created a selection of coffrets across its key
feminine and masculine lines. The sets feature a Christmas garland motif,
designed to evoke mistletoe and holly.
In addition, there is a Prestige Edition of Shalimar (pictured right). The 60ml
edp is presented in an elegant atomiser. The flacon features a baudruchage seal
fringed with silk threads.
It is housed in a suedette-lined midnight blue case, and will retail
domestically at about €255. "

"FRANCE. Paco Rabanne has created two limited-edition versions of its Paco
Rabanne pour Elle women’s fragrance, for winter 2004.
They will be available in travel retail from November.
The Metal Collection comprises a 50ml edp and a 30ml parfum. As the name
suggests, both flacons feature new silver designs.
Only 2,000 units of the parfum version (pictured left) have been produced. Each
one bears the designer’s signature and the quote: “Metal is the quintessence of
elegance”. The cap features an innovative silver link “bracelet”.

In other news, Paco Rabanne has created winter limited-editions for its
Ultraviolet franchise.
Ultraviolet Aurora Borealis and Ultraviolet Man Aurora Borealis (right) both
feature brightly-coloured flacons, in hues of purple and turquoise.
The women’s version is available as a 50ml edp; the man’s as a 100ml edt. "

Dzieki, sorbet :-). O tych sprayach nie cytowalem- sa dostepne juz u nas jakies
2-3 miesiace ( w sephorach chociazby), musiales przegapic :-). Meskie travel
size jest ostatnio popularny, na masowa skale zapoczatkowala je kilka lat temu
Chanel, ma je u nas takzenp. Azzaro, Miyake i Givenchy Pour Homme. Szkoda, ze
brak na rynku nowych pocket sprayow Amena. Gaultier za to mial kiedys fajna
edycje Le Male- mini butelke Le Male na lancuchu plus zapas. Szkoda, ze nie
kupilem, choc wtedy baardzo mlody bylem :-)
