Masz jakies powody, wskazania do badania? Przepraszam, ze tak prosto z mostu,
ale lekarze coraz czesciej probuja narzucac testy, ktore tak naprawde sa nie
potrzebne, a Ty bedziesz sie tylkno denerwowac...Chyba, ze jest powod i to Twoja
decyzja-to co innego-dostaniesz odpowiedz juz na wczesnym etapie ciazy. Ja jak
bylam w ciazy mialam amniopunkcje(podejrzenie zespolu Downa)niby "podobne" z tym
ze w przypadku CVS pobieraja probke lozyska, a nie wody plodowe. W moim
przypadku wszystko zakonczylo sie pomyslnie i mam nadzieje, ze u Ciebie tez tak
bedzie :):):)a przede wszystkim, ze nie bedzie koniecznosci wykonywania tego
badania...

Jezeli nie, to nie narazaj dziecka na ryzyko uszkodzenia.

niestety niesie, jak rowniez poronienia, jak amio wykonuje sie je
gdy sa jakies ku temu wskazowki.

czytalam duzo na temat tego badania, wiec teoria dotyczaca wad konczyn przy
wczesnym CVS nie jest dla mnie nowoscia. z tego co wiem obecnie unika sie
przeprowadzania CVS przed 10 tygodniem ,a pozniej tego ryzyka juz nie ma.
dziewczyny, dziekuje wam wszystkim za troske ale decyzja w sprawie badania
zostala juz podjeta. plusy i minusy zostaly starannie rozwazone. literatura
przeczytana. teraz chcialabym sie dowiedziec "u zrodla," ze sie tak wyraze, jak
przebiega samo badanie. stad pytanie do mam, ktore moga sie podzielic tutaj lub
na priv. swoimi doswiadczeniami.

nie bez zadnych problemow, drugie bolesne, moze kwestia wklucia,
wieku, nie wiem ale dochodzialm do siebie przez kilka dni.
oba dzieciaki nie ucierpialy.
z cvs nie mam doswiadczenia wiec nie pomoge.

Jak juz wczesniej wspomnialam, mialam amniopunkcje, ale swojego czasu szukalam
tez info o CVS, moze to troszeczke naswietli Ci sytuacje, pewnie juz to wszystko
wiesz, ale... :) Jezeli chodzi o metode brzuszną, to znieczulenie nie jest
zawsze stosowane(podobnie w przypadku amniopunkcji)

"Before you have CVS, you'll have an ultrasound to confirm how far along you are
and to make sure it's possible to get a good sample for the test. (Some testing
centers do this when you come in for your CVS, while others do it in advance.)
You'll need to have a full bladder in order to get a good view of your uterus on
the ultrasound.

The goal of CVS is to obtain a tiny tissue sample from your placenta, which will
be sent to a lab for analysis. The doctor withdraws the sample through either
your cervix or your abdomen, depending on which approach gives her best access
to your placenta. A technician uses ultrasound to help guide the procedure.

If the doctor decides to go through your cervix, your vagina and cervix are
first cleaned with an antiseptic. This is done to prevent any bacteria from
entering the uterus, which could cause an infection. The doctor then threads a
catheter through the cervix and uses gentle suction to get a sample from the
placenta.

If the CVS is going to be done through your abdomen, the doctor first numbs a
spot on your abdomen with a shot of local anesthetic. She then inserts a longer
needle through your skin, muscle, and uterine wall to extract the sample.

Whether the tissue is obtained through your cervix or your abdomen, the amniotic
sac where your baby is growing won't be disturbed. When the test is done, the
doctor will check your baby's heartbeat with an external fetal monitor or by
ultrasound.

The procedure might hurt a little, but it's over relatively quickly. It takes no
longer than half an hour from start to finish and the extraction itself takes
only a few minutes. Women who've had a transcervical CVS say it feels similar to
a pap smear, which may feel like a cramp or pinch. Those who have a
transabdominal CVS may experience some discomfort in the abdominal area.

Note: If your blood is Rh-negative, you'll need a shot of Rh immunoglobulin
after CVS (unless your baby's father is Rh-negative as well) because your baby's
blood may have mixed with yours during the procedure and it may not be compatible."

Cvs ma podobne "zadanie" jak amniopunkcja, z tym ze wykonuje się je na duzo
wczesniejszym etapie...

"Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) is a prenatal test that detects chromosomal
abnormalities such as Down syndrome, as well as a host of other genetic
disorders. The doctor takes cells from tiny fingerlike projections on the
placenta called the chorionic villi and sends them to a lab for genetic analysis.

The main advantage of CVS over amniocentesis is that you can have it done
earlier — generally between 11 and 12 weeks of pregnancy, although some testing
centers will do it as late as 13 weeks. (For an amnio, you'll have to wait until
you're at least 16 weeks pregnant.)"

"Like amniocentesis, CVS can identify:

• Nearly all chromosomal abnormalities, including Down syndrome, trisomy 13,
trisomy 18, and sex chromosome abnormalities (such as Turner syndrome and
Klinefelter syndrome). The test is more than 99 percent accurate in diagnosing
these conditions.

• Several hundred genetic disorders, such as cystic fibrosis, sickle cell
disease, and Tay-Sachs disease. The test is not used to look for all of them,
but if your baby is at increased risk for one or more of these disorders, CVS
can usually tell you whether he has the disease.

Unlike amniocentesis, CVS cannot detect neural tube defects, such as spina
bifida. If you opt for CVS, you'll be offered a blood screening test in your
second trimester to determine whether you're at increased risk for neural tube
defects. Most neural tube defects can be detected by a detailed second-trimester
ultrasound done at a state-of-the-art academic center.

Be aware that if you have CVS, there's a 1 percent chance of getting a result
called a mosaicism, in which some of the cell lines cultured from the placenta
contain abnormal chromosomes and some are normal. If your CVS detects a
mosaicism, you'll have to have amniocentesis and possibly other testing to
determine whether your baby is affected."

Dzieki, nie slyszlam o tym tescie.

Mialam robione CVS 13 lat temu (ciaza w wieku lat 42).
Ze wzgledu na usytuowanie lozyska droga intracervical.
Badanie robione bylo w 11 tyg. ciazy - mala kijanka tanczyla po
ekranie monitora.
Po 2 tygodniach mila pani zadzwonila do mnie i powiedziala, ze
wszystko jest OK i zapytala czy chce sie dowiedziec jaka jest plec
dziecka. Powiedzialam, ze i owszem, ale ja i tak wiem, ze
dziewczynka :)
Kijanka ma na imie Julia.
P.S.Najgorzej wspominam koniecznosc opicia sie przed badaniem duzej
ilosci wody ...
