1) Rick, You are star in Poland, what do You think about this league, how
level is here ?
"I think the polish league is a great league. The most competitive in my
career so far. The league has many good players and is very solid. I believe
the level is extremely high and am happy I am competing here."
2) What do You think about Polpak? Can they fight about place 1-3 ?
"As for my team, I believe that they will be fine without me. They are young
and eager and have no quit in them !!! That's why we are so dangerous cause
we never quit. The team is a very aggressive defensive team and defense wins
championships !!! They will be fine and will continue to win without me.
Others players have to step up now and will be given the opportunity to play
a bigger role for our team now."
3) What is with Your injury? Can we see You Rick one more in action in
Poland ?
"My hand is doing a lot better the pain of the surgery have gone away
finally, and im feeling good. I'm working my hardest and will continue to do
so until I go back to Polpak. My ultimate goal is to return back to Poland
and help my team win and also to report to my fans. I owe my team, fans,
president, and everybody who ever cheered for me, to return to Polpak and I
will !!!!! Everyday that goes by im working to return so hopefully it will be
soon..."
4) You're from Puerto Rico, what do can tell me about Poland, and small city
like Swiecie, where play Polpak ?
"I like Poland and it's a special place. The people and the culture is very
appealing to me and I enjoy it. I like being in grudziadz the people show me
a lot of respect and I really like the town."
5) How do You think with team will be champion in this season? Prokom?
Polpak? Maybe other team?
"I believe that we will be champions. We have a great team and we have
champions character. We all play with pride and help each other. Those are
the things that champions are made of and these guys are champions at heart.
We also play good defense and everyone can score. Prokom is a great team and
have a lot of good players. That got "Kiki" (Christian Dalmau), and a
good supporting cast, I do think it will be us and prokom for the
championship!"
6) Do You want maybe say something to Polish fans?
"I would like to say hello to all my fans and thank them for all of the
support. I would like them to know that im working hard everyday to get back
and perform for them. I thank them for being on my side and want them to know
that I will be back!"
