I'm from Australia and i don't speak a world of polish.. but guess what? the download button on this "foreign website" was completely and utterly obvious, it was my first click and i honestly cant imagine anyone not being about to figure it out...BIG YELLOW BUTTON WITH AN ARROW POINTING DOWN INTO A COMPUTER... don't complain about it not being friendly to other non polish countrys, this is a simple hosting site for the patch and if your that unfamiliar with the internet then get off it right now, you going to get a virus.

Cały czas przerywa mi przy 184mb. Z tego co widzę nie tylko ja mam taki problem. Ma ktoś może jakąś złotą myśl jak sobie z tym poradzić?

próbowałem też przez różne przeglądarki i też przerywa. Pakiet językowy ściąga poprawnie a Edycję Rozszerzoną nie.

Mam ten sam problem co koledzy powyżej (transfer staje przy 184 MB), więc coś jest nie tak ze strony portalu. Jak dotąd nie znalazłem alternatywnego źródła tego pliku. Skoro sciagnij.pl ma wyłączność na hostowanie ER, to wypadałoby się z tym problemem szybko uporać.

Ściągałem w weekend całość (patch 1.4, polski język i patch 1.5). Wszystko
zainstalowałem i śmiga. Proponuję zmienić przeglądarkę lub skorzystać z
menedżera pobierania.

First of all, when I install the game and then try to run it, it says I have to have admin privileges to run for the first time. Well, I am the admin and I installed it as admin!! I tried this on two different systems, one XP Pro SP2, the other WIn7 (both as admin) and it happened on both. So, I decide I'll try the "Check up upgrades" link on the launcher, which opens a page that says nothing about any patch. I find my way to the "Download" link which opens a page written in English and Polish. I wonder "am I at the right place, this is very confusing." I finally download the patch, install, and still the same "must be admin" message - now, mind you, I still am running as admin! This sucks, what's going on!!? I buy a game and can't play it. And on top of that, there seems to be little more than poor support from the developers. By the way, after installing the patch, I clicked the "Check for upgrades" link from the installer and it takes me to a 404 (not found) page. It's so ridiculous that I'm almost laughing at this point. Given my experience thus far, I don't even want to try to play the game now - I'm taking it back for a refund!

Shame on you CD Project Red!

Addendum to my post 28.04.10, 02:03:

After uninstalling the game, it left the pesky Tages cd copy protection driver on my system, which is blocked in Win7 due to incompatibility issues. Even the uninstall process seems to be botched! Though I do realize Tages is a product of a separate entity and the driver issue is not CD Project Red's doing; however, if the install routine installs Tages, then the uninstall routine should uninstall it!

Let me reiterate: this has been a very bad user experience!

CD Project Red, if I'm supporting you as a paying customer, then it's only fair for you to provide with me (us) with quality customer/user support. That includes tailoring support (in a language-speaking context) to users of various languages (i.e., website), as you have published your product on an international basis.

My intent is to provide some useful, constructive criticism and not to just complain. Please listen to those who provide valid customer feedback - then, hopefully, you'll start to get things right.

ok i got the download for version 1.5 now it won't install as it tells me it cannot find the destination....help here ppl please as i enjoy the game but with all the crashes its a chore not a game...any help would be [e-mail]

My new PC is running Win7, and is overkill in all respects for running this game. Yet each time I try to run it I get "Warning: Minimum system requirements not met". I am not running an NVidia or other graphics card, but the intel HD onboard that came with my new pc(new meaning a month old as of this date). So it's a 2010 PC, trying to run a 2007 game and it should fly. Anyone have any suggestions? Currently trying to dl and install all recommended patches to see if those work. I did get around the Tages thing. Just need to go to their site and dl the driver which will make it compatible with Win7.
