Gentlemen,
Further to the tragic events in Algeria on the 20th August, in which
twelve SNC-Lavalin employees were killed and fifteen injured as a
result of a bomb attack on a bus carrying SNC-Lavalin employees to
work at the Koudiat Acerdoune water treatment plant and distribution
project, SNC-Lavalin will be observing a one minute silence on all
project sites and offices throughout the world at 11.00am local time
on Monday 25th August as an expression of support for the deceased /
injured and their families.
We would sincerely appreciate it if you would join the SNC-Lavalin
family in this demonstration of solidarity and caring for our
colleagues, their spouses, their children, their parents and
friends. Our thoughts, our hearts and our prayers go to them in this
time of deep sadness.
At 11.00am on Monday, we would ask that all activities on site, as
far as practical cease and a silence be observed for one minute.
