Really? Have dined in many a restaurant, in quite a few English speaking
countries but 'grilled neck of pork' does not ring a bell as a high class
speciality on offer. One does not grill cuts of meat which require hours of
stewing to become fit for a human palate. Leg of pork, shoulder of pork, loin
of pork, fillet or even pork belly (yak), but neck does not feature in
supermarkets, let alone restaurants.

Loin (`schab') and shoulder (`łopatka') are meat elements.
Fillet it is NOT. It's just any meat without any bones.

Polish-style `karkówka' is a pork element called `a neck of pork`. There's also
a butcher's term for it - a collar.

In supermarkets you probably have to look for a pork fillet but it can be any
boneless element.

This is quite a lot of rubbish. You can find a leg of pork with a bone or
boneless and the latter will not be referred to as 'fillet'.
'Pork element' called 'a neck of pork' or 'a collar' might appear in the
apprentice butcher's manual but certainly not in a shop or definitely not on a
restaurant menu.

Judging by the name of the outfit it's oh so English, hence the vivid if
incorrect discription of their fare. Don't quite know however, whether the
quoted price of a meal is inclued with intention to impress or to disperse any
doubts among those remaining unconvinced.... or what?
Have an English version of a Polish cookery book which did cost a pretty penny
or two and is full of utter nonsense. How's that for an argument?

menu'. Usually it's not. Why? That's simple - in good restaurants they rather
serve tiger shrimps with cava [and I don't mean coffee]. But what do I know,

Obviously your answer to the original question was misleading, as I believe, an
exception does not prove a rule. A number of other people seemed to prove you

I'm relieved. Thank you. I usually take my tiger shrimps with tea and wouldn't
want confusion to set in.
