Horrible jail-"Tesco"

IP: *.neoplus.adsl.tpnet.pl 20.10.04, 16:20
I've never been to England. But, to learn a little bit more about their
residents, just like they look, behave and so I use to shop in "Tesco"
supermarket.Unfortunately, this what happen to the buyers in "Tesco" is
ridiculous.Rude cashiers and so many pickpocketers or other kind of gangsters
that it is almost unbelievable. If the streets of England look the same way I
will probably never visit this criminal country.

And no one care.

you can always choose Saveway or Sainsbury's like I did No more tescos!

        Safeway, my man, not Saveway.
They all cheat and shortchange. Been to them a lot. Been cheated or
shortchanged in all three of them. And I'm not a model loser.

sorry, it's difficult to focus on a keyboard with 102 F. I haven't ever been
shortchanged, I just control myself and the people around. Ca suffit...

I live in Poland so I have the choice between English, Dutch, German and French
companies. But the English is the worst .They cheat or look for the possibility
to cheat almost all the time.Lately the cashier and a group of thieves tried to
persuade me to leave the store without my paying card!I was shocked. But it
seemed to be just the ordinary way they treat their customers, so nothing to
          worry.

They like me like they do the others.

      E-mail TESCO about your experience.

Remember the cashiers are Polish and the thieves you mention are also Polish.
Maybe TESCO should take more care about staff training but you should take care
not to condemn a whole country as 'criminal' based on your experience in one shop.
If I had a penny for every time a cashier had been rude to me in a Polish-owned
shop I would be richer than Bill Gates!

Oh Deer, Deer, how stupid can one get. Tesco jail, staffed with gangsters,
pickpockets and rude cashiers, all so clearly imported straight from London and
trained to rob you of your Platinum card. Utter nonsense. It's the Polish
employees and prevailing culture that make the store you describe what it is.
Now, if the baked beans and sausages were not to your taste, that would be a
      different story.
But you are right - do not come to England.

And the "Tesco" staff don't realize how much that kind of publicity can cost.No
          wonder, they are simply men.

            Simply men or simple men?

My question is why do Polish shopkeepers have such an issue with giving change?
If you try and buy something for 6.8 zlots and pay with a 50 it is always a
huge problem. Even though they have the coins to give you the change it is
always an issue. Can anyone explain why.

After 9 years here it still puzzles me.

Maybe you should "pay" for something and you don't understand other way.

try to buy sth in the very morning, having only a 100 PLN note.

So probably they don't have enought change for the whole day and the process of
getting more change is too complicated.Consider faked notes as well altought
there are ultraviolet devices and I can not understand why they don't use them
but manually check the notes as after many years of work in the bank.
