You can live in a loft, but you can't (at least not comfortably) live in an
attic.

W USA slowko Loft jest tez uzywane jako nazwa mieszkania zrobionego z
przerabianych budynkow magazynowych/produkcyjnych, lub nowej zabudowy, ktora ma
takowe imitowac. W ww przypadku mozna miec loft na 1szym pietrze
kilkupietrowego budynku :-)

I can't recall, but somewhere I heard: an attic apartment. So it is possible to
live in it.... Raccoons would be delighted!!
