      The first one.

      You need to use the unisex "they" tag since every other option would prove sexist/immoral/offensive/derogatory and could lead to panic/public unrest/riots/deportation/possibly even change of regime.

      Seriously though, I was serious about the answer. Let me not dwell on why exactly that is correct, but I can assure you it is.
