Hurghada się zmienia, jest coraz czystsza. Widać to wyraźnie porównując do lat
ubiegłych.
W końcu znikną też latające plastikowe torby podrywane przez większe wiatry.
Ze sklepów już znikły.
Panuje pełny zakaz używania przez sprzedawców plastikowych torebek, które
zostały zastąpione papierowymi.
Nie wiem, jak jest w innych miejscowościach w Egipcie...

In April 2009 the governor of the Red Sea will enforce a plastic bag ban within
Hurghada. After this date, local shops and supermarkets will not be able to
supply free plastic shopping carrier bags to its customers.
Instead, customers will be given the opportunity to purchase a re-usable bag.
The ban, which has received the full support of the council and many large
business operators, will replicate successful models used in many towns
throughout Europe and HEPCA’s role will be to manage the public awareness
campaign to support the ban.
The ‘One Bag at a Time’ campaign will be visible throughout shops and
supermarkets over the coming months and will provide education and information
for all Hurghada residents. It is hoped that the ban will lead to a larger aim
of cleaning up Hurghada.
How will the ban affect you? You can easily adapt to the new rules by observing
the following:
• Re-use old shopping bags – take them with you to the shops.
• Purchase a stronger plastic or material (cloth) bag to use for your groceries
and shopping items.
• Tell people about the ban and the positive reasons for it!
• Become a HEPCA fan on facebook and join our discussion group – This month we
are sharing ideas for re-using old plastic bags.

Moja droga byłam już w szoku w maju jak zobaczyłam na ulicach śmieciarki. Co
prawda większość "tubylców" nie wiedziała po co ten sprzęt magiczny pewnie
jeździ po ulicach, bo i tak śmieciory wywalali gdzie popadnie ale zawsze to
jakiś powiew cywilizacji. Trochę czasu im trzeba dać i nauczą się , że śmieci na

czystoscia,walczy o to kilka firm miedzy innymi z niemiec,beda powoli
rozwiazywanie tez inne problemy zanieczyszczenia srodowiska ,nie czarujmy sie
,egiptowi brakuje fachowcow w tej dziedzinie ale to dobrze nasze dla naszych
firm ,mamy tam dobry rynek zbytu miedzy innymi dla maszyn,smieciarek,uropejski
rynek jest nasycony ,pora tam na zmiany
