      A person/group of people or animal(s) (and perhaps robots) with only one special
      capability; someone who is only successful once eg having one pop hit.

        You can also say 'A one horse town' meaning not much not much
        happening in way of nightlife and so on. :-)

          Wow! I didn't expect a brand new idiom with a horse in it;-) Maybe
          it could be a good idea to present more contemporary English phrases
          which cannot be found in school books...;p anyway, I've learnt my
          horse idioms right away:-D

            I've no idea what's in school books, but what about:

            Never look a gift horse in the mouth.
            You can take a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.
            Never catch a pony by its tail.
