            Hexagon Panels, H· 24 Pentagon Panels, P· 2 T panels, TL & TR· 2 Half
            size Pentagon Panels PL & PR · 6 Entryway Panels E1, E2, E3R, E3L, E4, E5·
            1 Gallon Concrete Admixture· 45 ft. #8 Galvanized Wire· 24"
Galvanized Reinforcing Rods· 1 Roll Fiberglass Reinforcing Tape·
            Adhesive · Finishing Nails· 16d Nails· Large Sponge

            MATERIALS & TOOLS NEEDED:Gather & prepare all the materials & tools. ·
Concrete for slab foundation with 2 #3 re-bars (optional) or wood for
            platform foundation· 2 - 94 lb. Bags Portland Cement for 3/16" coating·
            4 - 94 lb. Bags if 3/8" coating is required· 45 Gallons (¼ cu. yd.)
            Sand· 5 Gallon Bucket· 3 Pressure Treated 2x4's x8'· Materials for
Doors (2 sheets of plywood, hinges & hasp)· Hammer, Trowel, Step Ladder

GROUND WORK:Prepare the soil for your foundation. · Clean the
ground of sod & all organic material.· Level & compact the soil. Unsettled
soil can be compacted by flooding thoroughly with water. After it drains,
stomp the area with your foot.

CONCRETE SLAB FOUNDATION:Most functional foundation. Uses 1 1/3 cubic yard of
            concrete for a 3” slab with footer.CONCRETE MIX:1 part portland cement + 3
parts sand (or 2 parts sand + 2 parts gravel) + water to blend. · Dig a
footer around the outside edge to a minimum of 5" deep & 6" wide.· Form
the slab to dimensions shown using 2x4's, or any serviceable wood. Stake in
place to retain shape.· Mix & pour the concrete 3" thick in the center & 8" in
the footer.· Place the #3 re-bars or #8 galvanized steel wire into the wet
concrete about 2" in from edge & 2" below the surface. Overlap the ends after
making a complete loop around the footer.· Level & trowel the surface.·
Bend a ½" hook on one end of the 24" galvanized rods & insert that end
4" into the concrete footer at each corner. The rods should be 1" inside each
corner & leaning outward slightly above the slab to be concreted into the riser
            panel seams later.

In areas subject to Hurricane force winds, it is very important that the dome
            be secured
to a concrete foundation or anchored to the ground so the wind will not lift
            it.
In areas not subject to high winds, the foundation & tie down requirements can
            be reduced.

ALTERNATEWOOD PLATFORMFOUNDATION:Satisfactory foundation suitable for steep
sites or where a concrete slab is not practical. · Drill 3/16"
holes through he floor deck at each corner of the dome. Bend a ½" hook on the
bottom end of the 24" galvanized rods & insert them all the way up through the
deck. Drive a nail beside each rod to lock in place.· The rods will later be
            concreted into dome seams.

ALTERNATECOMPACTED EARTH FOUNDATION:Serviceable foundation, but without the
strength of a footer & floor, it is the least wind resistant. · Select
a level spot higher than the surrounding ground.· Construct the dome on
leveled & compacted soil.· Once the riser panels are concreted, use the
45' #8 galvanized wire to wrap around the lower edge of the riser panels.
Apply an additional layer of concrete over the wire for additional weight &
            strength.

            SIDE ELEVATION

JOINING THE SEAMS:Contact Adhesive is provided to secure the panels seams until
the dome can be concreted.Keep the lid on the container to prevent it from
drying out. Storing the brush submerged in the adhesive will prevent it from
hardening.A can of Expanding Form can be purchased from hardware stores and
used as an adhesive or used to fill voids in EPS. Try to use all of the foam on
the same day because it is difficult to clear the nozzle and open the valve if
it has hardened overnight. · Apply a thin layer of the contact
adhesive to the edge of both panels that will join together. The adhesive can
be applied with a brush or item similar to a putty knife.· If you allow
the adhesive to dry the two painted surfaces will immediately stick to each
other. Using this method you must make sure that the panels will be flush on
the inside and that the corners align when they first touch.· If you apply
the adhesive to one panel and join it to the other panel before the adhesive
dries it will act much like glue and allow for repositioning. Using this
method you must hold the joint together while it dries.· Apply a small
bead along the edge of one of the adjoining panels. Place the panels together
and avoid moving the panels until the foam has had time to harden, about 30
minutes. Long finishing nails can be used to hold the panels in place by
pushing them through one panel & into the adjoining panel.· Try to dispense
some of the foam periodically from the can before it has time to harden in the
            nozzle.

1st ROW: RISER PANEL ASSEMBLY:The riser panels are placed & joined with
adhesive. · Place the 7 riser panels R & join them together with
adhesive. Be sure the square edge is down & the beveled side is to the
outside.· Once joined, the inside corners of the panels should be 6 ft.
from the center of the slab. The outside edges of the panels should be about
1" from the slab edge. Adhesive can be used to secure them to the slab.·
Place & join the half size riser panels RL & RR on each side of the
entryway opening. · Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to harden before
            advancing to the next row.
2nd ROW: TRIANGULAR PANEL ASSEMBLY:Triangular panels H will fit in any
direction. Triangular panels P must be placed with the P oriented as in the
diagram. · Attach the triangular panels P & H of the next row as
in the diagram. · Secure with finishing nails & adhesive.· Allow
sufficient time for the adhesive to harden before advancing to the next row.·
Panels PL & PR are set to the left & right of the entryway as shown.

            PANEL
            PLACEMENT

3rd ROW: TRIANGULAR PANEL ASSEMBLY:Reinforcing tape is added & the 3rd row is
assembled the same as the 2nd. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to harden
before advancing to the next row. · Tape the outside of the
horizontal seams at the top of the riser panels with 1 strip of fiberglass
reinforcing tape. Place it within the bevels of the seam to safeguard against
pulling up the tape during concreting. The ends may be held in place with
nails & the adhesive.· Join the panels of the 3rd row as in the diagram.·
The TL & TR panels must be placed so that the top of the opening is
            straight & level.

TOP ROW TRIANGULAR PANEL ASSEMBLY:The top of the Utility Dome may be assembled
on the ground. · Using adhesive, assemble top 5 panels on the ground.·
Tape the seams between them with fiberglass tape.· Set in place as
1 unit, trimming panels for fit.· Tape all the remaining seams with
fiberglass reinforcing tape. Tape a second time around the seam between the
riser panels & 1st row of triangular panels.
ENTRYWAY ASSEMBLY:Entryway panels may be joined as each row is placed, or after
all the other panels are placed

      US Promises Iraq’s Turkomans Autonomy
      Excerpts from last DEBKA-Net-Weekly, 9 July, 2002

US war planners have decided that their most useful strategic asset for the
coming offensive against Saddam Hussein is the 2.5 million Turkomans of north
and central Iraq - even more than the Kurds.
DEBKA-Net-Weekly ’s military and intelligence sources explain their reasoning:
      1. The Turkomans control a vital strip separating Baghdad and central Iraq
from its oil regions in the north. After the war is over, US strategic
planners plan the establishment of Turkoman and Kurdish autonomous states in
the north and a Shiite territory in the south to keep the federal regime in
Baghdad chronically weak and ineffective. The oilfields will be left with the
Turkomans and the Shiites. The Turkic-speaking Turkoman Strip is of
exceptional geo-strategic importance, running as it does from the Turkish-
Syrian borders in the northwest to the Iranian border southeast of Baghdad. It
includes the oil cities of Kirkuk and Mosul, as well as Arbil – or Irbil,
Diala, Salah-e-din and Altunkopru. The last is an island-town on the Little
Zab River. There is also a large community in Baghdad.
      2. At the end of May, Turkey came around to joining the US offensive against
Iraq for compelling strategic reasons of its own. One, the eventual
disseverance of Iraq will enfeeble Iraq and its military ally, Syria, both
neighbors. Two,Ankara will gain control over the perennial Kurdish problem by
holding Turkish military forces in the autonomous Turkoman region and so
clamping the Kurdish regions between Turkey in the north and the Turkoman
Strip in the south. Three, the Turks will gain a direct route to Baghdad for
the first time since the Ottomans were thrown out in 1924.
Turkey now has special military units and military intelligence agents
positioned in Turkoman towns, corresponding to the US presence in the Kurdish
regions. They are training small Turkomen units in the arts of guerrilla
warfare. The Turks and Turkomans will be able to cut the supply lines from
Baghdad to the Iraqi forces positioned on the Turkish and Syria borders.
Turkish agents have also been planted in the Turkoman community in Baghdad.
They are assigned to helping the American effort to undermine and subvert the
Saddam regime from within, so reducing the need for large-scale military
      action.
The new name to watch for is Sapr Oketene, the US-Turkish choice of Turkoman
      national leader.
The forcible relocation of the Turkomen communities and their replacement by
Arabs began in 1925 when the British first set up the Iraqi oil company in
Kirkuk and Mosul. This policy of changing the demography of the oil rich
sectors of Kirkuk by deporting ethnic Kurds and Turkomans is still going on,
      including seizure of their lands.
The “safe havens” created by the UN in 1991 after the Gulf War divided the
Turkomans into two separate communities, part living above the 36th parallel
which is dominated by the Kurds and part living below and dominated by the
Iraqi regime. Since then, the largely Sunni Muslim ethno-linguistic Turkomans
who ruled Baghdad from 833 to 1924 complains of ethnic cleansing by the
      dominant Kurds.

                  The Mystery of the Kiss
                  Zohar II, 146a-146b[1]
                  (~1300)

Another interpretation: Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth [SoS
1:2]. What did King Solomon mean by introducing words of love between the
upper world and the lower world, and by beginning the praise of love, which he
has introduced between them, with let him kiss me? They have already given an
explanation for this, and it is that inseparable love of spirit for spirit can
be [expressed] only by a kiss, and a kiss is with the mouth, for that is the
source and outlet of the spirit. And when they kiss one another, the spirits
cling to each other, and they are one, and then love is one.

In the Book of the Ancient Rav Hamnuna Sava, he says on this verse: The kiss
of love extends into the four spirits and the four spirits cling together and
they are within the mystery of faith, and they ascend by four letters, and
these are the letters upon which the Holy Name depends and upon which the
upper and the lower depend, and upon which the praise in the Song of Songs
depends. And which are they? Alef, he, bet, he[2]. They are the supernal
chariot, and they are the companionship, unison and wholeness of all. These
letters are four spirits; they are the spirits of love and delight, for all
the limbs of the body are without any pain at all. There are four spirits in
the kiss and each one of them is comprised within its companion. And since one
spirit is comprised within another, and this other is comprised within the
former the two spirits become one, and then the four are wholly joined
together in one single unison, flowing into one another and being contained
within one another. And when they spread abroad a single fruit is made from
these four spirits, one spirit comprised of four spirits, and this ascends and
splits firmament until it ascends and dwells by a palace called "the palace of
love," a palace upon which all love depends, and this is similarly
called "Love." And when this spirit ascends, it stimulates the palace to unite
                  with that which is above.
