Has anyone ever worked...?

as a teacher abroad? I mean working as a teacher of English as a foreign
language or as a state school teacher of other subjects. There is a company
recruiting Polish teachers to work in the UK. Have you heard about it?

No I haven't but have read about experiences of those who braved the world of
the state education in UK. More often than not the teacher shortages are at the
inner city, multi-ethnic establishments where vast percentage of pupils do not
speak English at home and discipline seems impossible to enforce.
I also know of a top grammar school which, at the time of acute crisis,
employed a maths teacher imported from Poland. Poor woman lasted just one term
once the parents rebelled against mathematical explanation being dished out in
the classroom with a strong, alien accent.
Have a go, by all means, but do not expect it to be easy.
