viva canada!!!

Eliyahu Yehoshua Veffer was born in Jerusalem 17 years ago. His parents came
to Israel from Canada, but later went back there. A few months ago, Veffer
had to get a new Canadian passport. In the place on the form for his place of
birth, he filled in "Jerusalem, Israel," but the clerk returned it to him,
with "Israel" scratched out. Like other Canadian citizens born in Jerusalem,
Veffer's passport does not state his country of birth. This is Canadian
government policy.

The Canadian Government will simply not take part in their conflict.Imagine
eg.your place of birth as Kattowitz,III Reich. It's absurd.

Your comparison is inaccurate because Kattowitz was passed from Germany to
Poland somewhere in 20's. At that time Germany was called the Weimar Republic.
The Third Reich refers to the time when it was under the control of Hitler, and
Hitler took the power over in 1933.

So let us take the example of Lvov, Poland and the years between 1945-now.It is
like calling back the time and trying to use a third party to prove
it.Naturally, one can be dissapointed if that not work, but to sue the
government of an independent country for your own imaginations?A bit insolent,
          I think.

Odd. In my Canadian passport under "place of birth" it says: WARSAW POL.

Most Arabs consider Jerusalem their land. Canada is not going to side with
either party. This is what is great about this country.
          Proud to be Canadian !

              • iwwonka Re:Proud to be Canadian 10.02.05, 00:30
Not if you are saying "as well" like that you can't hehehehe. But you'll
probably make a darn good English teacher in Poland. "Can I be one as well,
please, pretty please", yeah after you use a tractor to pull that stick out of
your needlebutt hehehehe and start talking like an average joe. That was a mean
joke. Of course you can be one "as well" hehehehe.

I don't know where iwwonka lives, but you're right - she is arrogant. If she by
any chance lives in Canada - unfortunately she doesn't act like a real
Canadian. In Canada, some ethnic groups are famous ( or infamous rather) for
being cocky and arrogant. Sorry to say that, but the Polish immigrants are on
                    the top of the list.

top of the list? Don't make me laugh. If we're on top of the list, than that
                      puts you there too.

E ty, wykrzyknik, hehehehe. 'stupidyty', 'i wish i was' hehehe. I wish you were
