na wstępie zaznaczę, że jestem dość cienki z angielskiego i nie wiem dwóch
rzeczy. Po pierwsze, powiedzcie mi, czy można liczebniki powyżej 20, np.
twenty-four, pisać bez myślnika tzn. twenty four. Po drugie, czy wyrażenie z
porą roku, np. " I relax in the summer" można napisać bez "the" tzn. " I
relax in summer". Na sprawdzianie napisałem te drugie wersje i nie wiem czy
jest dobrze
Dodam, że jak w google wpisałem "twenty four" to większość wyskoczyła z
myślnikiem, ale nie wszystkie. Podobnie z porami roku- dla "in summer" było z
16 mln. wyników, a "in the summer"- ponad 30 milionów. Może więc mam dobrze...

Here is the general rule of thumb for using a hyphen between numbers:

- anything between twenty-one and ninety-nine, use a hyphen.
- use it with larger numbers like two hundred fifty-five. (make sure you do not
use an "and" between any of the numbers - "and" indicates a decimal point).
- last but not least, use a hyphen with Ordinal numbers such as thirty-second,
eighty-first, etc.

Both in summer and in the summer are correct.Seasons can be used with or
without an article.Seasons come with a zero article when you talk in general
terms without having a specific season in mind.
As for your example, I would say "in the summer". Just sounds better to my
ears. :)
