Well,
December is closer and closer and so are the Cambridge exams.
I've decided to take CPE though I'm not sure whether I'm already ready ;) for
that. But still, I'm a risk-taker and the only thing I might lose is good
humour and almost 600 zloty :)
Anyway, I've got a question to those who are already through with those
exams. What should I pay attention to? What - in your opinion - is the most
difficult part of this exam? And one more thing - is it worth reading those
books you might write about during the writing part?
Give me please any clues!!!

books are always worth reading, but as far as composition on CPE is concerned,
well, the topics are almost banal, and you can handle them easily without
resorting to the books form the list. The topisc you get, are like this: There
was one thing in my childhood I treasured most. Describe its impact on and
value to you... For me, the worst part was listening, because the implications
as to what answer choice was the correct one were so subtle and abstract that I
couldn't get my hands on them... Later it proved that it was composition that I
screwed up... So maybe after all, I'm not the kind of person you seek advice on
      books form..:)

IF you have more questions just type them!

Well, as I've been allowed to ask questions, then I will:)
        1. How important is it to know the colloquial English? To be honest, I'm not
good at it as I've never been to any English-speaking country!!!
        2. Phrasal verbs - do they put much stress on it?
        3. Is the speaking part difficult? Do the interviewers ask difficult and
complicated questions and use sophisticated vocabulary???

I'll be VERY grateful for your answer!
        Greetings,
        Beata

Watch out for the summary task. There are some new tasks as well. But my
impression is that the exam has been made more releveant and user-friendly.
        Good luck with it.
