    what do people usually do after graduatig from the english department?

        The answer seems to be obvious: most of them teach in one way or another.
        Sometimes, when they're lucky, they can get some additional jobs such as
        translating.

          Sure. it's simple. If, at age of 30, they don't live with parents anymore, they
          start paying off their student loan, or they try their luck on social
          assistance. What do they say to the gradutes of other departments? "Do you want
          fries with that?"
