Chciałbym wyjaśnić raz na zawsze. Jestem in the bus czy on the bus i czy to
samo dotyczy też plane'u i trainu. I jeszcze, coś znajduje się (np. budynek)
in the street czy on the street czy at the street, a ja jestem in the street
czy on the street. Bo rozumiem, że idę by the street, prawda?

You are on the street/plane/bus/train, but in the car. Building, too, is on the
street. Also you are not walking by the street; you might be walking by
(meaning passing) certain building, for example.

Wydaje mi sie ze on the street jest amerykanizmem, natomiast in the street
anglizmem.
