Bush Administration's 2 years by Sen. Byrd

"To contemplate war is to think about the most horrible of human experiences.
On this February day, as this nation stands at the brink of battle, every
American on some level must be contemplating the horrors of war.

"Yet, this Chamber is, for the most part, silent

Senator Byrd from West Virginia, self proclaimed expert on rules and
        unqustionable king of pork.
Nice try but you don't know anything about american politics and nothing about
Byrd. Calling him sane is like calling Strom Thurmond young and Trent Lott
smart. Please don't take Byrd's remarks too seriously. They were made during
filibuster and it took more than an hour to complete. A filibuster is a game
for time. I did explained it to you, didn't I?
To illustrate the meaning of political speach I'll bring to your attention
today's remarks by Sen. Edwards. He just called present economical situation
"a Bush recession". The fact that recession started under Clinton and is over
now does not matter to the senator. Speach was made in front of a trade union
audience. Frendly forum. All the comentators are dismissing it as a pure
politics on the way to a presidency.

Mr. Bush in your eyes is a stupid moron, installed in the White House by a
Supreme Court judge. With this kind of bias you are obviously unable and
unwilling to see his acomplishments. Some of them you simply can't understand.
Don't worry, you are not alone. The whole democratic party is in the same
situation. Being out of power they totally lost their focus. On top of it they
lost a monopoly on information. Thr news outfits are divided. They no longer
present one-sided view. Although Mr. Bush had nothing to do with it.

He has never been an "unqustionable" king of pork.

          > Nice try but you don't know anything about american

You know much less than nothing about the "american"
          politics, not to mention Byrd.

You are not capable of explaining diddle, to say nothing
about filibustering. It is done for a purpose ant that is
          a foreign word to you.

What is "speach" (2x)? What is "frendly forum"? What are
all "comentators"? You are bubbling about the
hopelessness of those crooks, not about Byrd.
The recession in the US has been permanent since the
          sixties.

          "acomplishments". Name one "acomplishments".

Who gives a rat's ass about your "democratic party"?
There is no "democratic party" in the US - Democrat's
          Party, perhaps.
Popular media are whores, presstitutes of mainstream –
They all present a one-sided view in the
best fascist tradition. You are an idiot.
Benito Pubhair and his henchmen have everything to do
          with it.

Just in case you didn't notice I am calling you an idiot,
a dumbbell, a crock. You are inside the crock, to avoid
any misunderstanding about the pot's content.

Dear perk chill out, man. You gonna have a heart attack.
What are ant and presstitutes? "It is done for a purpose ant that is
a foreign word to you. Popular media are whores, presstitutes of mainstream."
It is obvious to me that you don't know shit. Your understanding of things is
based on emotions. There is no thought process involved. You know everything
better. As popular song goes " I can do enything better than you. No you
            can't. Yes I can.....etc."
Let me just answer one of your idiotic comments. You've said that "No single
Supreme Court Judge can do that, you fool." You cannot be more wrong.
It was a split decision 5 to 4. If one justice voted the other way the recount
would continue. The justices don't seat at the table and announce their
decision. Each justice makes a decision in his chambers without consulting
with others. He writes it down on the piece of paper and gives it to the clerk.
I really like being called an idiot by mentally unstable person. Have you
visited your doc at Credmoore lately?
Chill pill is prescribed for you.

...and what are these accomplishements?...other than flunking first English essay at Andover...skipping service in Vietnam...and fucking up every business he's ever started?...

            What are those accomplishments?
How about having a majority in both chambers? Done in midterm elections.
How about a tax cut despite democratic majority in Senat at the time of the
vote? How about neutralizing the opposition. Democrats are running on empty.

The former president skipped Vietnam too. On top of this he also skipped
National Guard. F*****g up every business? No, that wishful thinking on your
part. He's been quiet successful in business except for the time when crude
was $12 per barrell. At that time hundreds of small oil businesses in USA
            faultered.
Anyway, you are entitled to your opinion however biased.

Apart from taking grants for reconsidering McCarthy, Radosh, a neo-
conservative, also writes for a certain Front Page...

Anyway, our 'friend' Whacky, a self-styled American Fireman or,simply, a
Freeper, calls this DRIVEL an 'authopsy'!...

In typical Freepers' tradition, no real argument with facts and figures, no
contrarguments to Byrd's arguments... instead, comparison to a situation over 60
          years ago...& inevitably, Hitler!
(Well, Whacky if Saddam is Hitler then that's your doing in'it?)

"... What President Bush wants, Byrd argues, is to "attack a nation that
is not imminently threatening" but may be sometime in the future. An attack on
Iraq would be completely "unprovoked" and is completely "not necessary at this
time." Moral pressure alone is having what he calls a "good result in Iraq."

Similarly, Taft told the Senate that Hitler and the Nazis were not a threat to
the United States. (Acknowledging that Hitler might well defeat Britain and
rule Europe by "ruthless force," Taft still felt that such an "alternative
seems preferable to present participation in a European war.")

Joe McCarthy was a good democrat until he became a bad democrat. Had deep and
close ties to Kennedy family, especially to Robert Kennedy. Here we have an
association. Kennedys are bad. They stand on a certain side.....

Senator Robert Byrd, a southern segregationist, member of the Ku Klux Klan.
Guilty by association. Today he is a champion of the peaceniks and those who
            still fight against racism.
