I live in London and everyday I read newspaper 'Metro'. When I watched
yesterday's polish news and listened French President i felt dreadfuly upset
and irritated. If anyone has the same feeling i rewrite you a part of article.
'Jacques Chirac's comments about the contries hoping to join
the UE being 'ill - behaved and reckless' for supporting the US
show once again that the French view of the EU one where
everyone does what the French tell them or else they jeoparadise
their chances of joining.'
It seems that his comments care nothing for international opinion. There
are some countries, believe me which respect other people opinions.

Don't worry about that 'rat'! Nobody takes him very seriously!
On the other hand, the Polish government's attitude (from buying the F16
through comments on accession to plain licking of the American ass...)is
absolutely 'adolescent' & is being seen as such not only by the French!

You fuck with me? I'll fuck you back. That is a translation from a diplomatic
French to a plain, working class, English with a Brooklyn accent..
And for life of me I can't understand what is so "adolescent" about polish
foreign policy? The only countries opposing US are France, Belgium, Greece and
partially Germany. When France has no voice, like in NATO's Planning Commitee,
those countries too drift toward US position. Is the rest of Europe
"adolescent"?
Since, as chickenshorts wrote, nobody takes Mr. Chirac seriously, maybe he was
just joking? Maybe France is just jokingly dancing.
